Haunted By Shadows

Rebecca stumbled through the clearing, her eyes scanning the darkness for any sign of movement. The mist had thickened, making it difficult to see more than a few feet in front of her. She could feel the cold dampness seeping through her clothes, making her shiver.

As she made her way towards her car, she could feel the shadows closing in around her. It was like they were alive, creeping towards her with each passing second. She had never felt so alone and vulnerable.

She reached her car and fumbled with her keys, trying to get the door open. Her hands were shaking, and she couldn't seem to find the right key. She heard a noise behind her and turned, but there was nothing there.

Just as she finally managed to unlock the car door, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She screamed and spun around, but there was no one there. Her heart was pounding, and she could feel the panic rising inside her.

She got into the car and locked the doors, taking a few deep breaths to try and calm down. She checked her rearview mirror, half expecting to see someone standing behind her car. But there was nothing there, just the mist and the shadows.

Rebecca started the car and drove away from the clearing, her heart still racing. She knew that she needed to get as far away from those woods as possible. Whatever was happening there was dangerous, and she didn't want to be a part of it.

As she drove, she tried to make sense of what she had seen. The people in black, the strange dance, the knife. It all seemed so surreal, like something out of a horror movie.

But the more she thought about it, the more she realized that there was something familiar about it. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but there was a nagging feeling in the back of her mind that she had seen something like this before.

Rebecca drove for hours, putting as much distance between herself and the woods as she could. She finally pulled into a motel parking lot and booked a room for the night. She knew that she wouldn't be able to sleep, but at least she would be safe.

As she lay in bed, staring up at the ceiling, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She could feel eyes on her, even though there was no one in the room. The shadows in the mist were still haunting her, and she knew that she wouldn't be able to rest until she figured out what was going on.
