1982 Part 2

Now that finances are established, and i've helped as much as i could to oust Reagan, i should try to work on diminishing killers. i will have to ride a fine line between providing suspects and acting like a "psychic". i can't find a reason to step into the parole cases that shouldn't be won. However, i can annually look up murders that serial killers made in the previous year. i can also forward the information about forensic DNA and recommend that hair, saliva, sperm, and blood samples from violent crimes be stored in a national archive until solved. Then, the violent criminals can be forced to provide a sample to be tested against the archive. i won't pretend to understand the information on using forensic DNA. i will send lists of known serial killers and r*pists to the authorities annually.

Politically, i recommended that the gas tax be indexed to inflation at the bare minimum. We also need to push for a ban on earmarks on transportation bills and instead direct the states to regulate the formulas that determine their discretionary funding. We also encouraged most new infrastructure to use tolls as the primary form of financing.

Then we also need to push for a restriction on the Reagan tax breaks so that the taxes are NOT cut on money that leaves the US. This would help prevent the issue where companies export their profits from the US to save money.

i would also recommend that the Mavs and Cowboys pick up underrated players. As someone who is not really into sports, i will use Hall of Fame records to guide my recommendations. Stars to denote likely best available picks.

i should also support the creation of Dallas Area Rapid Transit next year. i can also push the system maps for light rail, commuter rail, and streetcars. Finally, i can forward the Trinity River Corridor Project to Dallas City Council so they can implement more elements before the original attempts in 1997.

Going back to talking about my family. At this age, there is a picture of me in a crib crying and trying to get away from my half-sister. i would attribute 25% of my "timid" behavior to her during this formative time. The other 75% that others don't notice is that i have no reason to get involved in most things. I tend to only notice or care about things that include me. You can say i'm self-centered, but i view it as more focused on myself. i don't mind giving whatever help i can to people that request my help.

Over time, i also developed a tendency to not care about gossip unless it sounds like a friend needs support. Then i will let them know i'm there if they need me. That ends my involvement in most of the other situations.

On my mom's side of the family, we have my grandfather. Hopefully, he is impotent and/or castrated by this point in this ideal world. i won't bother to name him. He served in WW2 and Korea, so i wouldn't be surprised to find Asian relatives. i tended to avoid him even though his interest was always on the girls instead. He had a comfortable amount of money and was an excellent cook.

Then there is my grandmother, Eva; her 2nd husband was found dead in the Trinity River, and her 3rd husband was A. Hammond. He was a serious man who worked at a grocery store called Minyards (no longer exists, so i can state the actual business). By the time i was born, i had 3 maternal uncles. Remy is a responsible and serious man who worked as a technician at a sports equipment company. Eli is a sweet, mentally handicapped man who will do anything for you. He was always a pleasure to hang out with, but it could be difficult to understand him. His wife was handicapped, too, but her need for attention was hard to satisfy. Then there was the baby of the family, Liam; he is a well-intentioned asshole that watches a lot of porn and is a bit of a pervert. i would say i take after him quite a bit.

On my dad's side of the family, we have my granny Jun(iper), a bartender for a famous killer of a killer. There was a story that my grandfather (who i never met) hit my granny once, so she teased him and tied him up and beat him before she left him.

For her children, first was my dad, REK, a bit of a materialistic person with a tendency towards alcohol, weed, and porn, sometimes all at the same time. Then there was another son from another marriage named Timmy; he was extremely rowdy, so it could be difficult for me, as an introvert, to stay around him. The remaining kids are presumed to have the same father, but that is unconfirmed. Damien is a troublemaker, but he genuinely cares for all the younger people. When he drank too much, he might want to fight, so by the time i was 18, he was a sober stoner. My aunt Valerie is the sweetest and friendliest person i know. She is very unconventional, with a more spiritual belief than any particular theology. She also prefers vegetarian foods but has to eat meat sometimes for her health. i have some things in common with her there, too. Finally, the baby of the family is my favorite uncle, Dylan. He chose to live with his mom and help with her bills and health until she passed, and then he lived with my aunt until he passed. He was always there to hang out or take care of anyone. i have some of those traits. In contrast, he was good at carpentry, and i have no mechanical skills.

Before the end of the year. i can walk and use the restroom on my own (thankfully). i still won't talk a lot since i tend to only speak when i think something is important.
