Kpop Reference

The K-pop labels with generally bad reputations in real life will not exist independently in this world. These are some of the labels that we will control/interfere with (our management will not impact existing musical content, just add additional releases and support for the groups under our umbrella):

SM Entertainment-1996 pushed SM into a songwriting/production company with our label managing their original artists and albums.

DSP Media-Daesung Enterprise-buy controlling shares in 1999, take control after Lee Ho-Yeon's stroke to allow groups to continue, then sell to RBW at cost in 2022

Cube Entertainment-2006 was hijacked from the start (as a fan of Cube groups, i can't have them be unsupported in my ideal world). After we steal what staff we can, we should hire the remaining staff as trainers since their artist development activities have always been better than their idol activities. We will let them encourage the creation of self-produced idols but not require our artists to self-produce and finance.

Star Empire Entertainment- 2001 issues with ZEA and 9 muses.

MBK Entertainment-2006

Open World Entertainment-2006

FNC Entertainment-2007 for AOA

TS Entertainment-2008 Mostly to support Secret and Sonamoo

Pledis Entertainment-2009 Mostly for Pristin and Seventeen

J.Tune Camp-GNI Entertainment 2009 coordinated with Rain to let us manage and co-finance the group instead

Hunus/Stardom Entertainment-2009

Entertainment Pascal-2011

MLD Entertainment-Duble Kick Entertainment; 2015 for Momoland

Media Line Entertainment-2015

J&Star Company-2017 The Rose

During the first generation of K-pop there were several artists that were established before we got involved including: 015B in 1990, Seo Taiji and Boys in 1992, Noise, and DEUX in 1993,

Roo'Ra, and Cool in 1994, and Se Se Se, and Turbo in 1995.

In 1996, we will steal HOT from SM to prevent their success from funding their growth. Instead, we will steal and replicate their path. We will employ most of the same people. We instead hired SM to create the creative materials for HOT (the music, choreography, and lore for their former artists). This will keep most of the profits with SM, but we will be able to pay the artists better, give them better treatment and support, and require SM to pay fees for the artist's time and effort.

There were several groups with plans for next year. For Baby V.O.X, we encouraged their label, DR Music, to make these changes to their plans: first, they should delay their debut from 1997 to 1999; second, they should pursue a cute concept; third, we suggest not to include possibly combative candidates Hyun-jeon and Shi-woon and Lee Gai for lying about her age, then we instead have Kan Miyoun and Shim Eun Jin; fourth for Cha Yumi we encourage the company to attempt to prevent injuries, but know that if she does get forced to leave that they should offer all possible support to future success; finally like all artists in the industry they should have access to counseling and support towards increasing mental health as well as members of management that just offer care and support out of genuinely liking the members.

For Diva's managers, we could only list all eventual members and warn about the shaky lineup and label issues. Their moderate success takes them to their goals. Still, it's a long, hard road to travel (like almost everyone in the entertainment industry).

We gave Eve's managers the same type of information, but their drama is a bit too messy to have much advice for them.

For Jinusean, we can only give YG our typical forecasts, dorm, and practice room support to let them keep their artists profitable.

For NRG, we must warn Music Factory to monitor Kim Hwan-sung's health in 2000. Hopefully, they can prevent his death in this world. All members also need to be coached financially to prevent one from committing fraud, another from gambling, and possibly an ethically questionable way to make them scared of driving drunk (also including a service from all labels to drive for any idol that has to drink in public). Although the health issue is the only one likely to be solved with our warnings, we must advise labels where their attention should be for their idols.

For SechsKies, we will purchase the controlling shares of Daesung Planning in 1999 to adequately fund and support their artists and then push for total control in March 2010 after the founder's stroke. We will coordinate to relinquish control of this label to RBW in 2022 since we only view any management of labels as mostly stewardship of the artists and related art. We will also suggest that they require Kang Sunghoon to sign away his rights to access his or the group's fan clubs and demand that he be required to train on how to at least appear to respect others. This will eliminate most of the issues for this group.

SES is another group that we will snipe from SM to force them into songwriting and conceptual planning as the activities they excel at and force them to let us manage the art and artists.

In 1997, the K-pop groups that debuted the following year were: 1TYM, 4Men, Fin.K.L., Koyote, S#arp, UpTown, Cherry filter, and Shinhwa. We are still providing housing and practice rooms for each artist who has yet to reach the stage of self-funding their activities. We also started to push governments to limit the dancing during any concert with less ideal conditions. This will cause more indoor venues and vocal performances (which i prefer) and the curtain method for most of the water/snow visual effect performances.

For 1TYM, we can only work with YG to encourage Teddy's songwriting/producing talents. For 4Men, we can only provide the list of members and the labels they bounce through. For Fin. KL, we can only save them from the bad management and corporate takeovers in DSP Media-Daesung Enterprise that started in 1999 and fight for safe stage conditions.

Koyote and UpTown have issues similar to 4Men, so we can only provide the following members/labels as needed. Their member's drug use isn't as big of a deal to us Americans (unless it drives you to debt or overdoses). For S#arp, we also provided the member list to World Music Entertainment.

For Cherry filter, we have no initial advice; we just provide the typical housing and practice rooms for each artist who has yet to fully fund their activities.

Since we've started stealing SM artists, Shinhwa ended up on our label, so we can align our efforts to their original timeline. Instead, we won't try to end any of their member's contracts or hold the name if they decide to create their own label/company. We will, however, oppose changing to other labels since we will already be providing better support than the rest of the industry.

In 1998, the K-pop groups that debuted the following year were: As One, Chakra, Cleo, Click-B, Fly to the Sky, g.o.d, and T.T.MA.

For As One, we have no initial advice; we just provide the typical housing and practice rooms for each artist who has yet to fully fund their activities. In 2003, we will invite Rhymer to found his label as a sub-label to be managed in our company and policy. Since his label only had issues after he let other people operate and lead his company, we can help him avoid the drama and retain his investments.

We have the same initial response for Chakra, with us buying their contract later instead of Kiss Entertainment. We will then support them if they continue past their original timeline. We will help Hwangbo and Jung Ryeo-won with mental health support and training and support in their future acting careers.

For Cleo, we can only provide the initial support to all artists before their success. For Click-B, we will provide the initial support and take over their label management next year. Fly to the Sky will have all our support since SM artists are scouted and hired under our label instead. We will support their ventures to lean in the R&B and rap genres. For g.o.d, we advised them that being entirely under JYP would be a cleaner contract/label. However, we would still provide support either way. For T.T.MA, we need more information to support in any additional ways beyond the initial support.

The K-pop groups that will debut in 2000 are: CB Mass, Papaya, UN, and 5tion.

For CB Mass, we have no initial advice; we just provide the typical housing and practice rooms for each artist who has yet to fully fund their activities. The drama with their irresponsible member will help lead to their success in their future incarnation as Dynamic Duo.

For Papaya, we recommend only including Kang Se-jung, Joo Yeun-jung, and Cho Hye-kyung since the two other members are so unpopular that they leave. We will offer acting classes while they are training. After their contracts end, we will volunteer to represent their more successful acting careers and Jo's trot music careers.

UN will also conclude with their members becoming actors too. So we will offer them acting classes and acting representation after their music careers end.

5tion's member lineup and labels are messy, so we can only forward the information for both as needed. Until then, we just provided the typical housing and practice rooms for each artist who has yet to fully fund their activities.

In our attempts to popularize K-pop sooner we proposed the K-con tour as fully funded by our company, offering free concerts until the original owners can take it over in 2012. We took all their eventual locations and instituted them from the start. Irvine; Los Angeles; San Francisco, California; Newark, New Jersey; New York City; Chicago, Illinois; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas; Houston, Texas; Mexico City, Mexico; Saitama; Tokyo; Chiba, Japan; Jeju, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Sydney, Australia; Paris, France; Madrid; Barcelona, Spain; Rome, Italy; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

We leave an open invitation for K-pop artists to join this tour, but our artists are included in this tour aware that building the audience in these places will be a slow process. These artists include: SechsKies, SES, Fin. KL, Shinhwa, Click-B, Fly to the Sky, jtL, and Jewelry. We convinced SechsKies to preform in this last tour as their farewell and hello to the world audience. We also let Fin. KL debut their more mature theme for their next album during this theme.

The K-pop groups debuting in 2001 are: jtL, Epik High, Nazca, Jewelry, G.U.Y, GIRLFrND, AL, M.I.L.K, Sugar, and KISS.

For jtL, we do not oppose their separation from H. O. T. Instead we advise Tony Ahn to limit his gambling to legal places. For Lee Jae-won, in 2008 we advise to increase his supervision as both a defense from accusations, and an attempt to prevent the accusations from becoming valid in this life.

For Epik High, we supported their founding this year with our usual living and practice support, debut in 2003, and commercial viability and becoming a major influence for rap starting in 2005. By the time Woollim merges with our label, Phreak Pro. in place of the original SM, Epik High has already moved to YG.

For Jewelry, we took over Star Empire's former control to prevent the horrible treatment and insufficient financial support that their later artists are exposed to. As is our standard, we invited as many of the future members to start the group as possible, and let the members leave/return as needed. For the members we supplied acting, modeling, and show hosting classes. For Kim Ye-won this was tied to her participation in etiquette classes. While Americans would dismiss her future issues, they would drag down her career. For Park Jung-ah we aimed to improve her acting in one of my favorite Korean shows, Seoyoung, My Daughter.

With M.I.L.K originally being from an SM label, we provided all the support possible for their limited musical careers before guiding them towards their future acting careers.

For Sugar, we encouraged their labels Starworld and Toy's Factory to focus more on their Japanese songs and training for acting.

Finally, for KISS, their label, J-Entercom, ends their contracts too quickly for us to do anything more than make acting, music, and dance training while they live in our dorms during their promotion for their successful single.

The K-pop groups that will debut in 2002 are: Black Beat, F-iV, Leessang, MC the Max, Noel, Shinvi, Vibe, route 0, LUV, Fever, Isak 'N' Jiyeon, DEJAVU, and Noel.
