1999 Media Interview Part 1-Politics

PCN: "Welcome to Pointless Celebrity News, AdminAll Corporation's chairman. You stated that we couldn't share your full name and only show your side profile. Would you mind stating why? Also, please let us know what name you want to use."

ASK: "Yes, you can call me ASK or some Phreak if you must use names. The restrictions are because i am only the chairman of a private company. My main role is to pick businesses to start and determine other policies for our businesses to follow. There isn't a whole lot of overlap that would relate to public interest."

PCN: "You say that, but AdminAll has lobbied for many changes to laws over the years."

ASK: "The first things we supported were transportation initiatives. This shows that we view transportation as the arteries of our nation. We must maintain and expand them intelligently and appropriately to continue progress and profitability."

PCN: "Doesn't that damage the environment?"

ASK: "i would say that the damage done by infrastructure is minimal, as long as due diligence is taken to avoid endangered animals and sensitive environments like wetlands. The damages done by infrastructure that we have to worry about is the older infrastructure constructed before the federal government required Environmental Impact Statements. That is why we supported the removal of abandoned dams and mandating improvements to carbon capture for buildings as the technology becomes available. To be honest, what we have to worry about the most is the climate change impacts caused by traffic. We supported a Ships and Rail infrastructure improvement. We also encouraged trucking to become mostly last-mile delivery from rail yards to warehouses and/or local stores. Following that, we encouraged new roads to start as toll roads and linked the gas tax to inflation to ensure that our highways could at least maintain their traffic flow."

PCN: "So what do you recommend for regular people to protect the environment."

ASK: "The two main things that average Americans can do to protect the environment are to drive less and buy local products and/or things made from local products. Others might encourage planting trees or grasses, but living close to current trees you won't need to plant them. They will reseed themselves. Also, if you wanted to plant trees in a place with dry soil, you would have to first follow permaculture practices and create a swale to redistribute groundwater before a tree would successfully grow there. In those cases, Xeriscaping your yard to minimize water usage might make a bigger impact than planting a tree."

PCN: " You seem to support Democratic candidates. Have you declared yourself as a Democrat?"

ASK: "That's a narrow view of politics. i mainly support moderate candidates. That's why for the next Presidential election, i will be supporting John McCain unless he picks some idiotic Vice-President candidate like Sarah Palin for his running mate. But to answer the political party question, i align with Libertarian mostly because freedom is the most crucial right, Democratic sometimes to keep the order and structure of society stable, Republican occasionally to minimize the growth of national debt, and a little bit of Socialist because i do thing social nets are essential. All of these have some caveats that limit my full support.

Liberty is great, but you can't weaponize it to infringe upon others' freedom or safety. Democratic safety and structure are needed, but bureaucratic waste is a significant problem. Republicans' pursuit of lower taxes for the rich defeats their attempts to lower national debt because the rich people save all their money instead. Socialism has an inherent danger of encouraging the abuse of the safety net. So, like all Americans, i'm mostly picking the poison pill with the most negligible toxicity to my life and priorities."

PCN: "What are your views about guns and the police?"

ASK: "Guns are a great right that most people should be able to enjoy. However, some people are not mentally, emotionally, or sometimes economically stable to behave appropriately when given access to them (like me dealing with my mental conflict with Christianity in my original life). This is why we encouraged the registration of arms with police departments, secure gun regulations, and some basic mental health checks for new gun purchases. Obviously, there is no way to prevent all murders by guns. Still, we should at least attempt to avoid premeditated mass murders when possible.

On that note, like all public officials, cops are vulnerable to encouraging and believing that they are above the law. We have to keep them in check while also requiring them to focus upon the violent and financial criminals in society."

PCN: "You instigated a lot of educational reforms as well. Why did you think that the education system needed reforms?"

ASK: "The first issue was the problem with ever-increasing amounts of homework, which we fought with, flipping the reading progress to homework and assignments to be done in class, possibly in groups or as a class. The second issue is the expectation and misplaced value of memorizing material that may or may not be useful later in their life. We added requirements that materials be available to be utilized during tests. With the rising prevalence of computers, finding and utilizing useful information quickly will be more important than just memorizing massive amounts. The third reform was just shifting away from unnecessary college degrees."

PCN: "What industries do you think still need college degrees?"

ASK: "Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, as well as major professions like medicine or law. i like to label them as Silver Collar jobs, bringing the second most valuable careers."

PCN: "If those are the silver level, what is the gold?"

ASK: "It's a little biased, but from my point of view, inventors and job creators. However, me valueing them above important industries like Engineering, Medical, etc., is simply because they can impact society without even going to school. Of course, that doesn't mean that school isn't helpful, and some supplemental college classes shouldn't be required for particular jobs. However, the process and expense of getting a degree drops the comparative value of getting the degree, especially at the cost of work experience. The intelligent way to go to college is by letting jobs sponsor your education while you work for them. Our company will start to offer that next year as well."

PCN: "You have supported many laws impacting the entertainment industry. Can you explain why?"

ASK: "Most of our interest in the entertainment industry is based on decreasing the vulnerability of artists. So, to protect children in the entertainment industry, we limited the number of hours they could work and the amount of money their parents or agents could access. We also pushed against modeling standards, pushing unhealthy weights into mainstream media. Instead, we forced doctor consultations to set desirable weight ranges for each person. Labels are probably still forcing their representatives to the lowest possible weight. At least it shouldn't impact their health as much. Then, of course, minimum living wages are important for all people, not just the entertainers."

PCN: "Why did you push for legalization of drugs and prostitution?"

ASK: "First, making things illegal doesn't make those issues disappear. So, instead of letting gangs, cartels, and prison administration systems make all the profit from a costly war, we promote a healthy regulation system with increased taxes on vices. Then, that allows the utilization to counter the impacts caused by those vices. Yes, that may cause more functional drug addicts, which i don't see issues with, and problematic drug addicts, who should be forced into rehab or get caught committing crimes to end up in jail. However, the number of problematic drug addicts should be less since the legalization of drugs will allow functional addicts to keep their jobs."

PCN: "What are your views on the internet?"

ASK: "It's an amazing tool and resource but comes with certain risks. We have tried to impact some of the problems, but we are unlikely to find a solution for the others."

PCN: "Which issues did you try to impact?"

ASK: "We helped pass laws to prevent online bullying by limiting the privacy granted to making internet service providers link the users to their activities. This does cause privacy concerns, so we also approved laws requiring warrants before anyone could access the user's information from the service providers. We also prevented service providers from selling user information or requiring users to disclose anything other than their user name."

PCN: "Which issues are you unable to impact?"

ASK: "There will be many issues with the internet in the future, but i am mostly concerned with the things that will lead to fewer relationships. Online dating will inflate average girls' perception of their personal value. This leads to any man who is more desirable than that girl accepting sex from all their willing partners. Then, any girl who gets sex from a more desirable man assumes that his accepting sex means that she deserves a relationship with that level of man. The end effect is less desirable men being unable to procure good relationships with girls who are their equals. Their only recourse is to aim for younger women or girls from other countries who still value relationships more than sexual gratification. This exacerbates the situation of these mid-level women "hitting the wall" where their age and sexual history, and the baggage that comes with that, limits their appeal to men."

PCN: "Would you consider your relationships to contribute to this issue?"

ASK: "For sure. i also choose highly desirable women that only accept me because of my cash and sexual activities with other women. For some reason, women prefer competing with other women for the same guy's attention. For guys, it's a bit of the reverse; if i was dating a girl, i would aim for a less desirable woman due to not wanting the competition. That being said, as a corporation's sole owner, i would never consider dating anyone. Instead, i am trying to create heirs with single women. Then, those heirs can inherit the ownership of individual companies within our corporation. Girls can receive my love, affection, and heirs, but i can not in any way consider dating or marriage. Girls must accept that most high-value men will have some variation of this viewpoint. The few high-value men that do desire marriage are probably only going to consider women with less sexual experience and baggage."

[PCN: "Why did you report certain people to the FBI to monitor and push through legislation on airport regulations, pilot safety, and security upgrades?"

ASK: "You shouldn't have access to this information. If you do not want to face legal ramifications, you should redact this section of the interview."]

PCN: "You instigated many changes to copyrights that their owners are unhappy about. Can you explain why?"

ASK: "My changes were an attempt to mediate between copyright owners attempting to take all the profits of creators that use part of their copyright to create new material, or creators that play the material and discuss it in what should be counted as "fair use." While i agree that the copyright holder should be compensated for using their property, i do not agree that they are justified to block or take all the profits due to the use of their products."

PCN: "This year, you aimed more legislation at the police. Can you explain why?"

ASK: "The changes were to make police accountable for any intentional disregard of laws by their agency or person. The other change was to make cops more trustworthy by preventing them from lying to anyone who isn't in an undercover investigation. You shouldn't have to worry about a cop pulling you over for a faulty tail light and being thrown in jail for some unrelated offense they found just by extending a stop."

PCN: "You also pushed for what is now labeled as LEED standards for solar power, insulation, and water reuse for renovating or retrofitting governmental buildings. Then, there are plans to add commercial buildings next year and residential in the following years. Can you explain the motive for these changes?"

ASK: "Yes, these changes reduce the dangers of brown or blackouts. It will also slow down the need for either eminent domain to create more lakes, and the use or creation of more power plants that pollute more."

PCN: "You did not support wind power. Is there a reason for that?"

ASK: "As someone that enjoys bird watching, i don't support the potential harm to them."

PCN: "Thanks for your time today. We will end this segment of the interview. Tune in tomorrow for more conversations with some Phreak, the Chairman owner of AdminAll Corporation. We will discuss his businesses and a little about his partners."
