Chapter Twenty-Six

Edward (POV)

I hugged Vi and first, she tensed up but then she relaxed. After a while, she wrapped her arms around my waist, and then I heard her soft snore

I tried to lay her back down but she wouldn't let me go.

"Yeah she not going to let go so you might just lay down with her," Damian said chuckling

I lay down and she snuggled up to me I look down at her and smiled.

I see a flash go off and saw dad taking a photo of us.

After he took the photo someone knocked on the door and we saw Raphael coming in with Griffen on his back.

"Eddy!" Griff screamed when he saw me and jumped off Raphael's back. He ran towards the bed but Damian catch him before he got to us

"You have to be quiet little guy Vi is sleeping," Damian said making him pout

"Damian give him to me," I said putting one arm out since the other is around Vi Damian passed Griff to me

"Griff buddy you have to lay still we don't want to wake up Vi okay?" I said and he nodded his head as he wrapped his arms around my neck and gave me a quick hug before looking down at Violet

"How's she doing?" Raphael asked as he looked at her

"She's fine, her ribs aren't that much worst but she'll have a little pain for a while and she doesn't seem to have any other injuries. Her old ones seem to heal nicely as well" Doctor Sheppard said as she came into the room

"Thank you doc," Damian said

"We need to wake her up and ask her some questions," she said

"Umm, sure should we stay or go?" Dad asked

"We'll wake her up and see if she wants you here then you can stay," The doctor said

"Okay," Dad said and she got near the bed

"Was she awake?" Doc asked

"Yeah she was" I answered

"Okay so we don't have to use drugs, I think it's better if you wake her up so that she knows that she's safe and that she doesn't freak out," Doc said as she looked at dad

"Okay Chase mind if you take Griffen to his mom and other brothers and you guys go with him," Dad said to point to the twins, Liam, and Raphael

"But..." Liam tried to say but was cut off by dad

"Liam don't, please just go to your aunt's room we will call you when she's awake and done talking okay," Dad said and looked at Violet

After the boys left dad lightly shake Vi and said "You have to wake up Balimina"

She slowly opened her eyes and looked at ma before she looked at dad and the Doc.

"Hey Violet," Doc said as she sits up

"I want to ask you what happened in Dallas?" She asked her

I looked at Vi and saw her hands start shaking so I grabbed it and gave it a small squeeze.

"Violet, we can talk alone if that's what you want or you don't even have to talk I can do all the talking all you need to do is tap twice for yes and once for no okay?"

"Okay but they stay," Vi said

"Okay good so first question, Do you have any pain?" Doc asked and she tapped the table in front of us twice

"Okay let me check the morphine," Doc said and Vi eyes went wide

"No, I can't be on that" she quickly said and tried to rip out the tubs in her arms

"Violet stop," Doc said trying to make get stop but Vi only struggles more, I grab her hands and pull them away from each other but it was too late Vi already pulled everything out

"Why the hell would you do that?" Damian asked or more demanded making her flinch

"Damian out now," Doc said

He stormed out of the room as the doc turned to Violet

"You used before?" She asked and Vi only nodded

"This and other drugs or just this?" Doc asked again

"Others too" Vi whispered and looked at the ground

"How long?" Dad asked looking disappointed

"More than a year after I overdosed and almost died I stopped and got cleaned," Vi said whispered

Dad closed his eye as Doc took the tubs again

"Okay the pain will not be that bad but you will feel it for a couple of days, I will put in your IV tub back in and then we can chat for a little while longer okay," Doc said and Vi nodded

"When is the last time you used?" Dad asked

"Three years ago," she whispered

"Okay Violet about Dallas can you tell me what happened?" Doc asked

Murphy drugged me so when I woke up I was a little out of it he said that I would marry him and bear his heir and when I refused he grabbed me by the hair and trow me on the floor he kicked me and then left.

After he left I slept for a while until Ivan and Ivy came into the room. Ivan told Ivy t leave and he said that he'll have a little bit of fun with me and then he started touching me.

He ripped my shirt and kissed me and when I screamed Murphy stormed into the room and kill him after that I blacked out,"

"So he didn't rape you?" Doc asked and Vi shook her head

"Okay, do you want some pills for the pain?" Doc asked

"No, I'll be fine," Vi said

"Good I be leaving then I'll check up on you before I'm done with my shift," Doc said and then left

"Edward go tell your brothers she's awake," Dad said and I stood up and left

Violet's (POV)

After Edward left Damian came back into the room. He looked me in my eyes and then looked away. I looked at dad and he just looked at the floor with his hands in his hair

"Why?" He asked

"I didn't want to but Chad forced me to drink and use after a while I got addicted it helped me with my pain and it took some of my memories away from the things I wanted to forget" I whispered and looked down.

Dad stood up and left the room as well as Damian. I lay down and tears fall down my face when the door opened up I looked at the door and saw my brothers coming into El was the first one to see me with tears on my face so he ran to me and hugged me

"Where's dad and Damian?" Edward asked

"Left" I whispered out and then my heart felt like it was going to explode, I couldn't breathe and the machine next to me went crazy.

The next thing I know is my brothers yelling at someone and I slowly closing my eyes...

Leo (POV)

We're all sitting in aunt Sara room and chatting when Edward came in

"She's awake and finished talking to the doctor"

"Can we go see her?" Oliver asked

"Yeah," he said

We all went to her room and once we got there she was crying Eliott went to her and hugged her and Edward looked around the room and then asked

"Where's Dad and Damian?"

All she said was Left and then the machine went crazy.

The nurses ran into the room and a few told us "you can't be in here please leave we'll take care of her"

"Someone call Doctor Sheppard we need to get her into surgery now!" I heard the young doctor scream as they rolled her bed to the elevator.

"No no no" Ollie repeated over and over again and again

"Oliver stop she'll be fine," I said grabbing him and pulling him into a hug.

He started hitting me and then suddenly stopped and cried

"What's going on?" Uncle Ian asked when he and Damian appeared in the hallway

"They just took Violet up to surgery, one minute she was fine and the next the machine went crazy and I think her heart stopped," I said looking at them

Their eyes went wide and Damian dropped the coffee the was in his hand.

I went to aunt Sara's room where my brothers stayed behind and the great of my family

As I walk in dad saw my face and asked "What's wrong?" Everyone looked at me and I took a deep breath before saying

"They just took Violet up for surgery"

"Is she alright?" My brothers scream

"I don't know uncle Ian and our brothers is in the waiting room, Dad I think we should be with them," I said and he nodded

"Boys, you stay here Angelo are you coming?" Dad asked

"Go he needs you and you better tell us what happened," Aunt Sara said to uncle Angelo

He nodded his head and we walk out with Matteo

~~~Time skip about an hour~~~

We're waiting in the waiting room when the Doc came in and looked somehow nervous. She came to us and started talking

"It's serious, she was bleeding on the inside and while we were finding where the problem was we saw a fair amount of glass shards

We got them out, hopefully everything without any damage, and we also found the source of the bleed, and we fixed it.

Her heart stopped 3 times, she is stable for now but she's also in a coma"

"W-what?" Uncle Ian asked with tears in his eyes

"I'm so sorry," the doctor said

"For how long?" Dad asks

"We don't know," She said and continue, "We'll keep an eye on her and put her in a Vip room where you can put security there I'll also give you a list of nurses and doctors that will come check up on her while I'm not here"

"Thank you, doctor," I said and looked at my cousins and my uncle

"I'm really sorry," she said and left.

I see Oliver and Liam standing up and heading to the door, I let them go and looked at Edward and saw he was crying on Eliott's shoulder as Eliott try to comfort him without crying Damian and his dad seem frozen, and Chase looks like he was going to collapse any minute

I quickly caught him and went down with him sitting on my knees he started crying and grabbed onto my shoulder.

I saw Damian calling someone

"Raphael"... "No, It's about Violet"... "S-she's in a coma," he said and tears run down his face I haven't seen him like this since we were young.

I stood up and went to aunt Sara's room where my brothers and aunts are. When I walked in my brothers all stood up and my mother asked, "What's happening?"

"She is stable now but she's in a coma and during surgery, her heart stopped three times," I said

Raphael (POV)

After I dropped Griffen off at the hospital and found out that Violet is fine I went back to my office and am now working on some of my paperwork. I see Alistair coming in and looked up at him

"Boss the ball is in three weeks and you still haven't planned it"

"Give my mom all the details and she will decorate and organize everything," I said and continue on my paperwork

My phone ringed and I picked it up

"Hello"

"Raphael" I hear Damian said

"Hey, Damian is everything okay?" I asked

"No, It's about Violet" I froze and asked

"What about her?"

"She's in a coma," My eyes went wide when he said that

"I'm on my way" I rushed out of my office and ran into dad and my brother Oscar

"Woah what's the rush?" Oscar asked

"Violet she's in a coma," I said and continued "I-I have to leave" I left and ran to my car
