Chapter Forty-Nine

Violet (POV)

So today is day 12 this past few days my aunts, grandmothers, and Ralph's mother have been a great help they took over the planning of the ball and told me to rest and practice my speech.

I'm on my way to get my nails and hair done and after that my makeup. My aunts are also going with me so is Chloe and Lucy

"Are you excited?" Chloe asked

"Nervous," I said

"Oo come on you did great yesterday when we practiced it and you going to look gorgeous," Lucy said

"And we know you will be an amazing queen," Chloe said

"Thank you," I said hugging them as we walked into the place

The people started with my hair ⤵

After my hair was done they did my nails⤵

After my nails were done we went to the shop next door where the people there did my makeup ⤵

Once they were done we went to the cars and drove home to get ready since there is only an hour left before the ball starts

When we arrived at the house I snuck in and went straight to my room wanting to surprise everyone when I come downstairs.

I put on my dress and looked into the mirror. I heard someone knocking so I said "come in"

I saw dad coming in with his suit on, he looked at me and smiled.

"You look gorgeous, sunshine," he said

"Thanks, dad I'm nervous," I said

"There is nothing to be nervous about," he said

"Doesn't help" I said and he chuckles

"I wanted to give this to you it was your mothers," he said and stood behind me slipping something around my neck once I looked down I saw a beautiful necklace

"Thank you, Dad," I said and hugged him

"Now you have a piece of her here to tonight," he said and quickly added, "Come on the rest is waiting downstairs and so is Raphael and his family"

We went out and my dad hold out his arm when we got to the stairs. I took his arm and we went down together. Once my family saw us they looked speechless.

As we stopped at the last step my brothers started to complete me making me blush

"You look stunning Violet," Raphael said smiling

"Thank you, all of you but we're going to be late so let's go," I said fast

We went outside and I saw 4 limousines waiting for us.

"You like?" Grandpa R asked

"Like are you kidding me I love it" I practically scream making my whole family laugh

"Let's go sunshine," Dad said and lead me to the second limousine.

Once we got in my uncles and grandparents also got in. Grandpa M some up when dad closed the door

"Your other grandparents and I will greet everyone at the door. And once everyone is inside your brothers will walk in front of you,"

"Okay," I said and looked out of the window

"Princess stop worrying you look stunning and you'll make a wonderful queen," uncle Angelo said taking my hand and squeezing it a little for increment

"Thanks," I said

Once we stopped my grandparent shot out and went to the doors we went outback and stayed there for a little while.

I got a text so I looked at my phone and saw it was Everest

E- Can't wait to see you tonight already inside

V- Yeah miss you guys will see you in 30 minutes or less

I locked my phone and put it away again and looked up to see my dad staring at me

"What?" I asked

"Nothing I just can believe my little girl will we a queen in a short while," he said and hugged me from the side

"I will still always be your little girl no matter what you know that right," I said and hugged him back

"I know," he whispered, and then uncle Alessio's phone started to ring and he answered it

"It's your grandfather we can go in now," he said and we drove to the front again. My brothers got out first and then me and dad followed by my 7 uncles, 7 aunts, and my 29 cousins

As we entered the place everyone was looking at us.

"Everyone welcome and thank you to be here on this amazing day, tonight at midnight we will crown our next queen my granddaughter Violet Hope Rossi Knight," My grandfather said loud and everyone started cheering and clapping their hands

"I would like you to meet our next queen," He said and my brothers made a hallway so I can get on the stage. My grandfather took my hand and whispered in my ears, "It's time they know"

"Good evening everyone, tonight we calibrate not because of me but because we can, I appreciate the trust you put in me and I would never break it.

After tonight I will be queen and with the title comes a lot of responsibility's but I know with my family's help and all of yours I will succeed. Because tonight all of you become my famiglia," I said (family)

As I finish everyone cheered even louder than before. Grandpa took my hand and guide me off the stage and whispered, "You did great mia nipote, and that speech was amazing but why didn't you use the one I gave to you?" (My granddaughter)

"Grandpa I love the speech you gave but that speech wasn't me," I said

"Okay let's go greet a few people, shall we," he said and kissed my head

We made our way to the British Mafia first. Everest hugged me and so did his brother.

"You look beautiful Violet," Everest said

"Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself, did you bring Ave with you?" I asked

"I'm afraid not her stupid mother is being a bitch again," he said

"Oo okay well when you get home give her a big hug and kiss from me okay," I said and he nodded his head

"Guys I want you to meet my grandfather," I said

"It's good to meet you, sir," Everest said and then he and Dom shook his hand

"You too," Grandpa said and then turned to me and said, "We have to go a lot of people to meet and see before midnight"

"He's right, I'll see you guys later," I said gave them all one last hug before following my grandfather to the French Mafia

"Violet this is the French Mafia leader..." Grandpa started to introduce us but I cut him off

"Drew and his beautiful girlfriend Grace"

"Hello Violet and its fiancee now," Grace said

"That's amazing, Congregation," I said hugging her.

"Thanks, Violet," Drew said

"Where is your brother?" I asked

"Right behind you," I hear sean say behind me I turn around and hug him

"Sean still trying to be sneaky?" I joke

"You know me so well little sis," I said and kissed my head

"Little sis I'm a year older than you," I said and punched his arm

"Yeah but you're still little," he joked about who taller he is

"It was nice seeing you guys again but right now I have to go to meet other people, I see you guys later again and then we can catch up okay," I said and we left

We went to a big group and Grandpa started to speak

"Carlos my old friend how's it been?"

"Very good thank you and with you?" The old guy asked

"Can't complain, Violet, this is Carlos my old friend, and his family there the leaders of the Mexican family,"

"I know grandpa there also my best friends family it's good to see you guys again," I said and hugged them

"Good evening my young queen. It's good to see you again too," Carlos said

"It's good to see you again, I missed you," I said as I hugged Rosa

"Yeah we all miss you to I visited LA and everyone back home miss you too," she said and hugged me again

"We'll catch up later but for now, I have to take her to meet the rest," Grandpa said

"Bye guys," I said and grandpa and I walked to the next group

"My queen it's a pleasure to meet you my name is Jung - Hoon and this is my lovely wife Sung - Ho and our son Ji - Ho," the guy greeted us when we got there

"It's nice to meet you too," I said in Korean

"You speak our language" Ji -Ho said

"I do I spend most of my free time learning every language I can and please call me Violet we are family after all," I said

"Well, then you have the brains and the beauty. Nice to meet you Violet," Sung - Ho said smiling

"Thank you and it's nice to meet someone as stunning as you," I said

"Thank you, dear," she said

"Well it was good to meet you guys but I still have others to meet so excuse us for the time being," I said and grandpa and I left towards the next group of people

As we got there I see Victoria and mentally roll my eyes

"Richard," Grandpa called out as we walk to the group

"Mario," One of the guys said and turned around

"My queen it's nice to meet you, I'm Richard and this is my wife Greta," the guy said as he saw me

"It's nice to meet you please call me Violet and it's nice to see you again Victoria," I said smiling

"You know each other," Richard asked

"Yes we meet before she used to date my brother Damian," I said

"Well okay this is weird, I'm Otto btw way her oldest brother," the other guy said

"Nice to meet you, If I may ask where is Will?" I asked

"Oo his around here somewhere," Greta said

"Yeah somewhere," Victoria said rolling her eyes

"I was lovely to meet all of you and to see you again Victoria but unfortunately we have to go we'll see you later," I said and took grandpa's arm and walked away to the next group

When we arrived at the group grandpa spoke up

"Dedrick it's good to see you again,"

"You too Mario and it's lovely to meet you, my queen, I'm Dedrick and this is my wife Skyla and our kids,"

"I'm Ryker it nice to meet you,"

"It's a pleasure to meet you I'm Markus,"

"Hey I'm Arabella but everyone calls me Bella and I'm 6 years old," she said practically jumping up and down

"It's nice to meet all of you especially you Bella, you want to know a secret?" I asked and she nodded her head fast

I bed down and said, "I always liked the name Arabella because it is a unique name and because it's similar to my mom's name,"

"Really?!" she asked excitedly

"Would I ever lie?" I said and she hugged me

"This is a miracle she never is this way with strangers," Skyla said

"It's not that odd she has this way with kids I still don't get," I hear Will behind me

"Hey Will," I said and hugged him

"Hey, Vi missed me that much?" He joked

I stopped hugging him and hit him on his shoulder.

"Ouch damn women you can punch," he said holding his shoulder and then said, "Hey Ryker"

"Hey man," Ryker replied and gave him a bro hug

"Well we should go I see you guys later," I said and left with grandpa.

We greeted the other mafia leaders and many other gangs that were invited when we finally went back to the table where my family and the Roman family are seated I sat down.

As I sat down Edward looked at me and started laughing. Making everyone look

"What?" I asked

"Nothing," he said trying to control his laugh I see everyone staring at me or more at the back of me so I quickly grabbed behind me and grabbed a hand.

When I turned I see Caleb smiling at me.

"What did you do?" I asked

"Nothing I was going to touch your shoulder that we can say hey," he said innocently

I narrow my eyes at him and then went to hug Jax and Clay as I hugged them I asked, "where are Maddie and your dad,"

"They stayed home Maddie isn't feeling so well,"
