Chapter Sixty-Four

Violet (POV)

The next morning I made pancakes while Ralph took care of the twins

I went upstairs and into the room, Cody and Niko had been staying in. I saw them asleep in each other's arms. I lightly shook them awake

"Wake up sleepy heads breakfast is ready," I said as I shook them

"Mmm," Niko hummed while Cody jumped up and hugged me

"Okay your up but I think your brother needs a little water what do you think?" I asked Cody. Niko heard it and was suddenly up.

"Good breakfast is ready," I said and walked downstairs with Cody on my waist and Niko following behind

I gave Cody to Niko and went to the kitchen where I saw Ralph trying to take both plates at once

"Don't even think about it," I said

"How do you do it?" he asked

"Easy with a lot of practice," I said and took the plates "Oh by the way there's a snake by your feet," I said making him look down

"Dammit Vi," he said and then asked, " What am I going to do with you?"

"Love me and never leave me," I replied and went to the dining room

"Hey, you guys hungry?" Ralph asked from behind me

"Yess!" Cody yelled

"Inside voice bud," I said smiling and looking at Ralph to see him smile

As we eat Ralph started talking

"I have to go to the office today so I might be back late,"

"It's fine I was thinking the kids and I could have a great movie day," I said

They nodded their heads. After breakfast, Ralph left and the boys and I went to the movie room.

The day went by fast and before we know it we were at the dinner table

"So how was all of your day?" Ralph asked

"Good," Cody mumbled as he stuck food into his mouth

"It was good," Niko said and eat further

"My day was amazing," I said smiling and then asked, "How was yours?"

"We had a problem at work nothing we couldn't fix but other than that it was eventful," Ralph said

"What problem?" I asked

"From the other part of our business some men got hurt," he said

"Are they going to be alright?" Niko asked

"Yeah nobody got seriously injured," Ralph said

"That's good I guess," I said

Ralph and I got to know the boys a lot better. As we were all done Niko took all our plates and help me with the dishes

"Thank you, Niko, why don't you go get a shower I'll get your brother into bed," I said

"Okay thank you, Violet," he said and left

I went into the room Cody is staying in and saw Ralph tucking him in

"Goodnight buddy," Ralph said and came to the door

"Don't" Is all he said

We went to our bedroom and after a little while I went to the kitchen for some water when I saw Niko was awake

"Couldn't sleep?" I asked

"Not really," he said and drank his coffee

"Something wrong?" I asked

"No, I was just thinking,"

"You're a good kid Niko," I said and kissed his head

"Don't stay up too late okay," I said and hugged him goodnight

"I weren't he said

I went back to my room and went to sleep

We woke up when we heard someone yell. Ralph and I grabbed our guns and went to the source. When we saw it was Cody who was screaming from a nightmare I gave Ralph my gun and went to him

"Shh Cody it was only a nightmare your safe," I said

"Where's Niko?" Ralph asked

We checked the whole house but nothing I went to sit on the couch after I put Cody into bed again. A couple of hours went by and Niko came in

"Where were you?" Ralph asked

Once he turn around and I saw his face I gasp

"What happend?" I asked and dragged him to the kitchen

"It's nothing," Niko said

"Nothing," Ralph said trying to control his anger be for he said, "Boy tell me who did this,"

I started cleaning the wounds on his face and then asked "Where were you and who did this?"

"I was at an underground fighting club," Niko said and looked down

"Why?" Ralph asked.

"Because I like to fight okay I do it a lot it's the only thing that actually helps me forget," Niko said

"Go to bed we'll talk in the morning," Ralph said closing his eyes

Once Niko left, tears fall down my face and Ralph hugged me. We went to bed and I woke up in the morning first. After getting the twins ready for the day and feeding them I went downstairs to the kitchen

I start making some pancakes for breakfast. After I flipped the last one Niko came in

"How are you feeling?" I asked

"Better thanks," he said

"Can you help me?" I asked

"Sure with what?" He said

"Can you go wake up your brother for breakfast," I asked

"Okay," he said and left

"Hey love," Ralph said as he appeared behind me

"Hey," I said turned around and kissed him

"Take this to the table," I said giving him the plate full of pancakes

When we got into the dining room the boys were there whispering to each other

"I don't want to," Cody said

They both went quiet when they saw us.

"Morning Raphael," Niko said

"Morning guys," Ralph said back

"Thank you, Violet," Niko said as I put some food in front of them

"Thanks," Cody whispered out

I smiled and sat down.

"About last night..." Ralph begins to speak and Niko interrupted him

"Look I know it was stupid of me but that's what I'm good at," he said with a straight face

"Look here son what you did last night was stupid and irresponsible,

And that will also be the last time you ever interrupt me when I speak to you I already told you this and I won't repeat myself so you'll respect me," Ralph said

"No fighting at the dinner table both of you now since your done let's say grace and eat," I said

After saying grace we started eating. I could see Niko and Ralph starting at each other and it made me smile at how caring Ralph is

"Boy's when your done eating we like to talk to you about school," I said and they nodded their heads

After we were done I told Niko to take our plates to the kitchen and then come back to the table. When he returned to his seat we started talking

"So I was kinda thinking now that you guys are staying here we should get you guys to school so last night before I went to bed I looked at schools near us and found some great and amazing schools near here," I said

"I am going to the adoption agencies to get all the paperwork ready and to get some of your paperwork.

We also l wanted to tell you guys that tonight is family night so our family will be coming over," Ralph said

"Okay," Niko said

"Good now go get ready were going shopping while Ralph does the paperwork," I said

Once they left I turned and looked at Ralph

"You sounded like dad and pops you know that right," I said trying not to laugh

"I know and now I know how it feels when I talked back to him," Ralph said and ran his fingers through his hair

"Not fun is it?" I asked and giggled.

"No it's not but I have to go see you later love," Ralph said and took his keys and wallet

"Okay, do you mind dropping off the twins at your mother's?" I asked

"Sure," he said

After he and the twins left I went upstairs and got dressed. I knocked on the room Niko was staying in and he opened the door. I saw his brother was also in his room.

"You guys ready to go shopping?" I asked

"Yeah what about the twins?" Niko said

"Ralph took them his going to drop them off at his mother's house," I said

We went to the mall and suspended most of our day there shopping for them. I bought some clothes and other stuff like essentials and school supplies and electronics for them. After we were done we went home.

"Fred and Jack, can you please put these in th kid's room?" I asked our bodyguards once they nodded their heads they took the bags and left

"So what do you guys want to do watch some movie or play games?" I asked the boys

"Movie," Niko said happily

"Okay then why don't you two go pick a movie while I get some snacks," I said

They ran to the movie room and started watching some movies as I got the snacks and the drinks

After a while, it started getting dark so I told the kids to go watch some cartoons on the living room tv as we went to the living room someone knocked on the door

I nodded my head at the kids showing them to go into the living room and then went to open the door to see my family standing there

"Hey guys come on in," I said

"How were they?" I asked mama as I took Gio from Leo

"They were amazing and good for their grandmother," Mama said smiling

"That's good to hear. I want you guys to meet someone," I said and walked to the living room and saw Niko on his phone and Cody watching tv

"Guys I want you to meet Niko and Cody," I said and my family looked at the two kids

I saw the two kids looking in our direction and saw the family staring at them. Cody quickly hid behind his brother when Niko stood up from the couch

"Guys this is our family," I said to the two boys

"Hey I'm Griffen," my younger brother said smiling

"Hey it's nice to meet you," Niko said polity. After my family introduced themselves to the boy's most of my brothers started talking to them and Griffen and Cody started watching tv

"Hey guys were going to be in the kitchen if you need me okay," I said and the two nodded their heads

As I went to the kitchen my grandparents, father, aunts, uncles, and older brothers followed

"So are you babysitting them or what?" Matt asked

"Well not exactly you'll find out when Ralph comes home which would be any moment now," I said as I put on the kettle

"Okay, why didn't you guys tell us about them?" Dad asked

"Well it's kinda complicated and we wanted to surprise you all," I said

We heard the door open and close and then Ralph walked into the kitchen

"Hey guys," he greeted the family and then kissed me

"Did it go well?" I asked

"Yeah we got everything," he said

"Okay someone tell us what's going on," Grandpa M said

"We adopted Niko and Cody," Ralph said shocking them

"Please tell me your kidding for how long have you known these kids?" Dame asked

"Don't just don't okay. We adopted these kids their part of our family now," I said

I saw my grandmother's, mamma and my aunts smile while the rest still looks shocked

"Are we going to go tell them?" I asked and Ralph nodded his head once we got into the living room Cody tan and hugged Ralph's leg

"We have something to tell you," Ralph said as he picked up Cody

"What is it?" Theo asked

"Is it about the adoption?" Niko asked making my younger older brothers confused

"Yes, it is," I said and Ralph continued to say, "You're now legally our adopted children,"

Niko suddenly hugged us and then let go and asked, "How did you do it so fast?"

"Boring details how about we go get something to eat and then head to the movies," Ralph said and looked at me for a split second

"I agree we need to collaborate," Grandpa R said

"Welcome to the family," Dad said

"Thanks, Ian," Niko said

"Your a part of the family now kid you could just call me granddad or grandpa, " dad said

"Can we eat I'm starving," Diego said

We all went to the restaurant and started celebrating I could see the two boys getting along with our brothers which made me smile

"Violet, can Blake teach me how to shoot a gun?" Niko asked making me froze

"No way in hell would you touch a gun until your 14," Ralph said

"You heard him," I said trying not to laugh

"Wow you just sounded like dad," Lucas said and everyone burst into laugher
