chapter 3:

As Geno made his way through the deserted streets of Tokyo Area 49, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. This area was known to be one of the most dangerous in the city, filled with gangs and criminals who preyed on anyone who was unlucky enough to cross their path.

But Geno was not an ordinary citizen. He was a member of the Neo-Punk gang, one of the most powerful groups in the city. As he walked through the empty streets, his eyes constantly scanning the shadows for any signs of danger, he couldn't help but feel a sense of pride in his gang and his own abilities.

As he turned a corner, he heard a rustling sound coming from behind a nearby dumpster. His hand instinctively went to the knife at his belt as he cautiously approached the source of the noise.

To his surprise, he found a young girl huddled behind the dumpster, her clothes torn and dirty. She couldn't have been more than ten years old, and she looked up at Geno with wide, frightened eyes.

"Please don't hurt me," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Geno's heart went out to the girl. He knew what it was like to be alone and afraid in this city, and he couldn't bring himself to harm a child.

"I'm not going to hurt you," he said gently. "What's your name?"

The girl hesitated for a moment before answering.

"Rei," she said softly.

"Well, Rei," Geno said with a smile. "I'm Geno. How about I help you find your way home?"

Rei's face lit up with a smile, and Geno knew that he had made the right decision. Together, they walked through the deserted streets of Tokyo Area 49, Geno keeping a watchful eye out for any signs of danger as Rei chattered away about her life and her family.

As they approached Rei's home, Geno could hear the sounds of a heated argument coming from inside. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do, but Rei ran inside without a second thought.

Geno followed her cautiously, his hand once again going to his knife as he prepared for the worst.

Inside, he found Rei's parents in the midst of a heated argument. They both turned to face him as he entered, their expressions wary.

"What are you doing here?" Rei's father demanded.

"I found your daughter wandering the streets alone," Geno explained. "I was just making sure she got home safely."

Rei's mother softened at his words, and she smiled gratefully at him.

"Thank you," she said. "We were so worried about her. We thought she had been kidnapped by one of the gangs."

Geno nodded understandingly. He knew all too well the dangers that lurked in Tokyo Area 49.

"Well, I'm just glad I could help," he said with a smile.

As he turned to leave, Rei ran up to him and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, Geno," she whispered.

Geno smiled down at her and ruffled her hair affectionately.

"Take care of yourself, Rei," he said, before disappearing back into the streets of Tokyo Area 49.
