Chapter 6

"Kyra..." Sasha said shocked.."enough,don't get all weepy" Kyra told her. "I'm only here because I have a plan and unfortunately I can't do it alone" she told them. "A plan?" Ava Questioned. "I want to get rid of the council and Triad All at once" she told them "I think it's the only way to unite everyone to stop them from dying" she added.

"And how exactly are you going to do that?" A familiar voice said from behind her as his scent filled her nose. As she took in a long deep breath savoring the scent she closed her eyes for a moment. "Adam," she said, turning to him.

Her one and only mate, who she hadn't seen in 6 years. She looked him up and down, he changed. His once bare face became scruffy and his hair was shorter. His body became more toned and muscular.

"I asked you a question," he said. His voice had grown deeper too. she thought to herself. "You changed," Kyra said. "Did you expect me to stay the same?" he replied. "No," she said as she turned away from him. "All I need is people, it's your choice if you want to help or not" Kyra said to Mia and Sasha before turning back to Adam.

Kyra began to leave but stopped next to Adam. "Tell your girlfriend I said hi" she whispered to Adam before walking away.

Adam walked inside. "Seems she's been keeping tabs on us" Sasha said. As Chris walked in the house. "I assume this was you?" Mia asked. "It was the only way I knew she was safe," Chris told them. "Fuck you" Adam said pushing Chris away from him.

"ALL THIS TIME YOU KNEW EXACTLY WHERE SHE WAS AND YOU JUST LET ALL OF USE EVERY RESOURCE WE HAD TO FIND A GIRL WHO WAS ALREADY FOUND" Adam yelled. "That's enough" Chris said. "NO YOU KNEW THIS WHOLE TIME YOU KEPT US IN THE DARK, YOU TOLD HER EVERYTHING ABOUT US BUT DIDN'T SAY A SINGLE THING TO US ABOUT HER!" Adam continued to yell. "I SAID ENOUGH" Chris yelled in his alpha tone.

"You can be pissed all you like because I knew where your mate was and didn't tell you but your the one who fucked another wolf and that's not on me" Chris told him. Adam didn't say a word and just turned and walked away leaving.

Ava, Ethan, Sasha, and Mia just looked at Chris. "We're helping her," Chris said before leaving as well. "What the hell just happened?" Ava asked as she turned to Sasha and Mia in shock. "Kyra came home," Mia said.

"She finally came home," Mia added.

"Adam what's wrong" Tarry asked as she chased after Adam who stormed into their apartment and straight to their room. "I'm sorry Tarry" Adam said as he grabbed a bag out of the closet.

"What?" Tarry asked not understanding. "I can't do this anymore" he told her "do what?" she asked concerned but Adam didn't respond. "Adam..." Tarry said as he zipped the bag then turned to her. "I can't do this anymore," he said. "I can't do it anymore," he added. Tarry just stared at him for a minute, her heart broken.

"She's back isn't she?" Tarry asked, disappointment and knowing in her voice. Adam just looked at her. "ANSWER ME!" she yelled, causing a light bulb to blow.

"She's back," he told her. "This isn't fair," Tarry said, obviously angry."Tarry," he said, stepping closer to her. "No this isn't fair!" She snapped. "She left you" she said "she walked away and broke you and I'm the one who put you back together I'm the one..." she said stopping as tears filled her eyes.

"For 5 years I loved you and this is how you leave me?" She questioned. "She comes back and I'm what... nothing?" She asked, trying to hold back her tears. "You know it's not like that" Adam told her. "Isn't it?" "She asked.

"She's your mate after all, right?" Tarry said. Tarry took in a shaky breath "You know this isn't right" she told him. Tarry grabbed his hands, and gripped them tightly in her own. "Stay," she said as she stared into his eyes. "Please stay," she pleaded with him.

"Don't go back to her, I am begging you, if you love me at all reject her" she begged him. "I do love you" he told her. "I love you so much it hurts" he added. "But I don't think I can reject her" he said. "And if I can't then I can't stay with you either even if I want to be with you" he said.

"You didn't care before" she said "you and I both know that every time we touched, every time we kissed or had sex she felt it" she said. "You didn't care before, why care now?" She asked him. "Is it because she's here now?" She asked him.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Adam took his hands out of tarry's and walked to the door then opened it. His eyes went wide in shock as he saw who it was. "Kyra?" He said confused as he stared at the same red hair and blue eyes he had only seen a little while ago.

"Say it" she said "what?" He asked as Tarry walked up behind him. Kyra looked at tarry for a moment then back to Adam. "My mom lost a love to his mate and I refuse to put someone else through that" she told him "if you don't do it I will" she added.

"Kyra..." he said, not wanting her to continue. "Adam," Kyra said. "If you don't I will" she told him again, her eyes sharp and serious. Tarry looked at Kyra confused. She never knew Kyra but everyone in the coven knew of her in fact she was pretty sure everyone in the world knew of her.

"Fine," Kyra said. "I, Kyra Lewis Reject you, Adam hunt" she said, and within a second the bond between them broke.
