Chapter 3 First Meet

At each stride he took, tears began to stream from his eyes. In front of his eyes, Sona's amused, garrulous, and naughty visage began to emerge. He began to recall all of those events from his time with Sona.

2 years ago…

 S R M University (A P, India)

At 9am in the morning, students were rushing to their classrooms as soon as the college bell rang. As the History class began, all the students were in a playful mood when suddenly a middle-aged teacher entered the class to announce that for the next month, Dr. Sidharth Maheshwari and Dr. Singh would be taking their class as well as the archeology department. 

After a few moments, a young man in his 30s entered the room; however, no one noticed him as they were having fun.  He loudly slammed the duster on the table and remarked, "I like to make noises, too, but after studies."  Only then a boy got up and said, If you don't like it, then go out. What are you doing in the class? We have seen you in the class for the first time today. Then the principal came into the classroom and said yes, he is new here and you all have a new professor; his name is Dr. Siddharth Maheshwari. One of the most renowned archaeologists in the world, leaving everyone in the class stunned. They could not believe that such a 'young man' could have achieved so much in his field. Suddenly, another middle-aged man entered the classroom and was introduced as Dr. Singh by the Principal. As he walked in, a student who was drinking water choked and accidentally spilled water on the student sitting beside her, causing the bottle to fall from her hand. The teachers and all the students in the class turned to look at her. Dr. Sidharth Maheshwari was quick to break the silence by giving his introduction and a slight grin to the students. Everyone's attention was now diverted towards him. That student was mumbling something to herself, and Siddharth starts smiling upon seeing her. 

After the class is over, all the students start leaving the room. That student also starts leaving while looking at Siddharth; only then does she collide with the door of the classroom. Siddharth Maheswari rushes to her to help her, he starts helping her keep her books in her bag. That student was wearing thick glasses, loose pants, and a T-shirt, and she was doing double braids. Looking at her, Siddharth asked, Are you fine? The student said, Yes, I am fine.  Then both stand together and give their introductions to each other.

Siddharth (extends his hand for a handshake) -  Hi I am Sidharth Maheshwari.

Then that student said shaking hands -  Hi I am Naina.
