He's kind of like family, really," they say, glancing down at a sleepy Queen Terror. Mr. Wiggles, similarly, has given up on wiggling and has curled up in your lap instead. "I've known him since I was a kid, and—he's always looked out for me. I almost don't know where I'd be if he hadn't been there for me."
A faint smile, just tinged with sadness, comes onto their face for a moment. You get the feeling they might have wanted to say more, but they thought now maybe wasn't the right time.
"Anyway," they sigh, "I think I'm glad I wasn't on my own the whole time today." They smile at you, and you can tell they're really grateful. "I know it's probably been a little weird for you, but I'm happy we could hang out. It's been nice."
