"It's so busy, I was pretty lucky to get a table at all," Rana tells you a little breathlessly, gladly drinking some of her own green tea. "Apparently there's a concert that's about to start—I knew they had them in the evenings sometimes, but I didn't realize there were some during the day as well."
She gestures over to the corner of the packed room, where a small space has been cleared to make room for a stool and a microphone. An acoustic guitar is propped up against the wall, presumably waiting for its owner to come and start playing.
"So—how have you been, Huknock?" Rana asks once you've gotten settled. "Tobias was telling me the other day that he was picking some of his college classes, which is really exciting. What have you been doing lately?
