CHAPTER 13

Yeonjun had to go back after staying for a bit. I felt relieved that we solved the problem between us, but the fact that Eunsoo was the stalker made me uneasy. I was so caught up in the moment when Yeonjun told me that I didn't quite catch up to it.

I sat down on my bed patting my face dry. It was honestly a good thing that we didn't like Eunsoo that much, imagine how much would leak out if she was in our circle.

I texted Yeonjun about the time I had to go to the company the next morning.

Our manager will pick you up at one in the evening.

I texted back that I will be at the college campus and got ready. I called Haeun and told her to meet me at the library. I had to tell her all of it.

"She did what?!!" Haeun exclaimed slamming the table.

"Shh! Keep it down!"

"That bi- no that girl did that?" She asked again in a half-whisper, I nodded in response.

"I knew it, I knew that Yeonjun would not do such things. That boy is too head over heels for you!" I smiled.

"She has our pictures too, so there's a high chance of us getting exposed if she feels threatened."

"Then what's the plan?" She asked.

I shrugged, "It depends on the company, I guess."

"So, you guys are good now huh? What happened last night?" Haeun asked, raising her eyebrows. I blushed and looked around, ignoring her answers.

"Oh my God... I can't believe you guys," she exclaimed.

"What? Nothing happened... He just came over that's all," Haeun pursed her lips and nodded, she did not believe me.

Haeun and I walked out after attending a class, TXT's manager will arrive at around 15 minutes, and to be honest I was nervous. All these problems arose because Yeonjun and I dated, it felt like I was to be blamed a great deal for it. It was also scary that it could ruin Yeonjun's career too.

"Hey, are you okay?" Haeun nudged me, I looked at her and smiled.

"Yeah.. just a bit nervous," I replied.

"I have not seen Eunsoo around the campus, do you think she is hiding?" My eyes wandered around, looking for a particular face. I shuddered at the thought of being stalked again, I hated it.

"Hey... it's okay. You will be okay, I am always here for you, hm?" I smiled and hugged her. I was glad to have her as my friend.

"Okay.. enough. Get your clingy ass off me," This girl cannot stand anyone touching her a bit.

"Oh... if you hate this, how will you let Soobin touch you?" I whispered in her ears and ran off laughing.

"ALANNA!!! YOU! I AM NOT TALKING TO YOU AGAIN!" Haeun screamed, I looked back at her, her face was all red and she was standing in the middle of the crowd screaming, not caring a bit about people staring at her.

"I'll call you after I'm done!" I shouted back and walked out of the gate. Soobin and Haeun, those two needed someone to urge them.

A black van was already parked outside the gate, I recognized the plate so I got in quickly.

"Good afternoon, Alanna." The manager greeted me.

"Good afternoon," I smiled and greeted back.

"Are you nervous?" He asked.

"Yeah, a bit. I don't know what to expect."

He nodded, "Don't worry, none of this is your fault. Our company is open-minded about their artists dating, and we already expected this to happen so just trust the company,"

"Okay, thank you." I smiled. I watched the buildings pass as we moved. I could not help but wonder how it will turn out. I just hoped for the best.

We arrived at the company and boy, it was big. I must have looked like a fool staring at one thing and another, but I can't resist it. Their building was as big as a mall!

The manager led me up to the top of the building which I supposed was where the headquarters were. We went inside a room and there, the TXT members and dangerous-looking people were also there.

Yeonjun quickly stood up and walked towards me, he smiled and took my hand.

"It's okay," he whispered, I nodded and followed him. I sat beside him, clutching his hand nervously.

A man, who was sitting at the center of the table, spoke first. He was wearing a black-rimmed glass and looked a bit cute for the boss.

"I am sure we are all aware why we gathered here. And first I want to thank Miss Alanna Kim for being able to be here. I know it will take a lot of courage but please make yourself at home. And in case you don't know me, I am Bang Sihyuk, the chairman of the company." He smiled. It amazed me how the chairman would attend such a meeting like this, he must have cared a lot about his artists.

"It's unfortunate to know that such things like this happen to our artist. And I want to thank the staff for handling the situation effectively. Now, what we have to worry about is the safety of the couple, that is our main priority. But, first I want to hear your thoughts on all of this. So, please state whatever you think is the best."

The staffs present there stated their opinions on how we should handle the situation. Some suggested that we should pretend like we have broken up for a while and announce something to divert the stalker's attention.

"What if we announce their relationship before the stalker does it?" We all turned to Soobin.

"That is possible, but with your group's comeback getting near, we will have to withhold it until the end of your promotion," Chairman Bang answered.

"I think that is a very good idea, we can call a hiatus after their promotions and we could announce their relationship at that time. But we have to find a way to keep the stalker's mouth shut," the manager said.

Soobin's idea could be a smart move, but if anything went wrong and word got out at the wrong time, it could affect the group's status badly. It was obvious that not only one person was involved in our problem, but it also had to be a group's work. That was what we have to be careful about, we didn't know what source they had or what they can do. They kept a low status and the only person we knew was Eunsoo, seeing the way she easily revealed herself, I didn't think she would be that important to this whole mess.
