The Celler

I was performing farm work. Jace approaches me. Today I was a little forgetful. After that night, I did not speak to my father again. I spent most of my time on the farm because I wanted to keep myself occupied and did not want to dispute with my parents any longer. I did not talk about it with anyone else at home. I also experience difficulties because of my dreams.

I was confused. After the photo frame was broken, I saw that my photo was torn. Half of the picture was missing. Like someone has put only half of the photo in the frame. I was angry. But I cannot do anything about it; I have no choice but to remain silent. I was feeding the animals when I heard Jace's voice. I look toward the door. Jace was standing in the doorway.

I have come to inform you that Mom is waiting for you at the dinner table," Jace said. "Dad said he wants to talk to you alone, so he wanted you to come to his room after lunch."

I did not answer him. I return to my work, and Jace exits the farm. A few minutes later, I look out the window and see that Robert has gone to the house with the kids. As Jordan was going into the house, he saw me walking down the beach. Jordan was gazing at me and thinking about where I was going. In the meantime, Alberta walks out the door and approaches Jordan. I was listening to them hide behind the mound.

"What are you looking at?" Alberta asked Jordan.

Nothing, just looking at the waves. They are looking strong today," Jordan said. I just want to tell you we should keep Ryan and Sarah away from the ocean for some days," Albert said while walking into the house. Alberta stands at the door and yells "My name," but she does not get any answer. Suddenly, she hears a voice.

"He might be in his room," Jordan tells Alberta. But Jace stated that he was working on the farm. Also, I did not see him go into his room” Alberta said.

Alberta was going upstairs to call me for lunch. Jordan stops her by telling her that he is in the bathroom, taking a shower. Alberta stops in the middle of the stairs and returns to the kitchen. While they were talking, I quietly entered the house. When Alberta saw me at the dinner table, she was shocked.

Jordan was also surprised to find me there. What are you doing here? I saw you going to the other side," Jordan asked. I said nothing. Jordan was just staring at me. "Now eat your food, or I will feed both of you myself," Alberta said.

Robert was not present at the dinner table. After lunch, I said to Alberta that I was going to sleep in the room. She looked at me. Are you feeling well?" She asked. I smiled. Yes, Mother, I am fine," I said while walking out of the kitchen.

I come out of the house through the gate as soon as Alberta looks over to the other side. I go out and walk towards the front and after some time I see a hill.

I stop at the top of a hill. I feel like there is a hidden door here. I look down at the ground. I see a wooden board under the stone, and I remove the stone and see that there is a small door. I open the door and go inside.

It was a spacious room under the rocks. There were chains and shackles on the wall. There was a bed in the room. There was no electricity in the room. There was no window in the room. The walls were newly painted. I felt strange. Meanwhile, I hear someone screaming.

"I will be in big trouble, but I am doing it for my brother, so I should not feel bad or scared. Jordan was mumbling. It was Jordan’s voice. I proceeded upstairs. I saw Jordan standing. I nodded my head.

" Has he gone toward the sea? Daniel, Daniel, and Jordan were calling me. Meanwhile, I approach Jordan's foot, Jordan looks down, and Jordan falls to the ground. As a result of the fall, Jordan’s hands were bruised.

Are you okay?" I asked while touching Jordan’s right shoulder. He looked toward me. "What are you doing down here?" Jordan asked me, "You scared me.

"You know what this place is?" I asked. Jordan was standing there ferociously. He did not give me any attention. I go and put a hand on Jordan’s shoulder. What are you thinking? "I just want to know if you have ever visited this place," I asked.

Hmmm... I do not think so. We are not allowed to go that far. I do not know if this place even exists. I think we should go home. I do not want to be in any trouble. Jordan said this and ran upstairs.

I followed him out the door. Would you not like to know what this place is? If you do not understand it now, let me tell you that it looks like a prison to me where you can kidnap a person and keep him there in the chain," I said.

No, how can you say that? I think you have not completely recovered from the head injury because this could be the room where you can hide during the hurricane. Look how far up the hill it is. You are making up stories. Also, now you are scaring me, "Jordan tells me.

While walking down the hill, I started talking again. Just listen to me. So why don’t you remember coming here? You did not even know it existed. I get it; I lost my memory, but you did not, "I said. Jordan turned his face toward me. "Because no strong hurricane struck on this island, that is why we did not come here for shelter before," Jordan said. I think we should go home.

Meanwhile, we hear someone coming in our direction and calling our names. We ran toward the trees near the hill. We hid behind the trees and started looking. Robert and Jace walk up the hill and enter the room. We come out of the trees and walk down to the beach. "If they found us here, we would be in trouble," I said. I think you should go, and I will follow you behind."

I should not have followed you," Jordan said. Why do you all fear them? What are you not telling me? "I said. If there is anything you can tell me," Jordan looked at me. They are our parents, and that is why we should fear them because if we do something wrong, they will get angry," Jordan said.

Why do you not understand? I can help you if you tell me the truth. I yelled. Jordan was going to the front. And stops and comes to me. Why do you think that they are not our parents? Did you know anything about them?

I had no answer to that question. I just keep looking at Jordan. We keep standing and then start chugging ahead. As we were walking, we saw Alberta standing in front of us. We come to a halt and stand still. She was looking angry. Alberta was looking at Jordan’s hands, which were bloody because of the bruises.
