The Confusion

I open my eyes, look around, and see the room door wide open. I stand up and walk up to the door. I peered outside, but no one was there. I walk into the bathroom. I look at the wall mirror in the bathroom. I touch my head and try to find the wound that was caused by the attack last night, but I do not find any wounds or even a small scratch on my body.

I stare at myself in the mirror for some minutes. How is it possible that I was injured so badly in the night and now I am completely fine? I started mumbling. I nodded my head.

It was there. I had seen blood coming out of my head. It was dripping down on the dirt road. I scraped myself as I slipped into the hole. How did those wounds heal so quickly? Why didn’t they kill me or lock me in the room? It was real. I am certain that it was real. I walked out of the bathroom. I walk up to the bed and sit on it.

I was confused. I raise my hand and look at them. The fingernail on my pinky finger was broken. It was bleeding. when I fought with the creepy guy. It was not a dream. I close my eyes and lie back on his back.

For a minute I lay there, but suddenly I remembered something from last night. I was barefooted, so I started looking at my feet, but my feet were also clean.

I get up and walk up to the door again. I heard the voices that were coming from downstairs as some celebration was going on. I walk out of the room. I walk downstairs. and I walk into the room on the left side. I saw a woman talking to Alberta.

The woman turns her face toward me. I was standing there, staring at her. She was a 26-year-old woman. She was also staring at me. Alberta walks forward and grabs my hand, which startles me.

Alberta raises her hand. I want to introduce you to Emma Wesley. She is Ryan’s and Sarah’s teacher. "We are celebrating their graduation," Alberta said.

I look at her. Are you joking? You and your friend tried to kill me last night. I know the secret you are hiding. "I know the hole that was filled with bones," I said.

Alberta and Emma, look at me. What am I talking about?" They were surprised.

Meanwhile, Robert appears behind the wall. "What are you all talking about?" Alberta looks at Robert.

He is talking nonsense again. I want you to talk to your son. Alberta said. Alberta takes Emma into the kitchen. Alberta becomes sad. She walks into the kitchen and sits on the chair. Emma looks at her and holds her hand. I was gazing at them and listening to what they were talking about.

He will be fine. You also told me earlier that everything is happening to him because of his head injury. I know this is a challenging time. You must be strong for your other kids, and I am positive that he will be feeling better in the coming days. Emma said.

Alberta looks up at her and smiles. On the other hand, Robert grabs my hand and takes me to the bedroom. Let me go. I heard everything. "I want to leave this island," I said while walking out of the room.

what you have heard. Robert shakes his head angrily. I do not want to talk to you. I go out of the bedroom. Robert quickly grabs my hand. I turned my face toward him.

Listen to me. You do not understand. You are sick. We are doing our best to get you better treatment. I need your cooperation because you are making it extremely hard for us. We want to see you healthy. "We love all of our children equally," Robert said.

I am going out. "I don’t want to hear your lies anymore," I said while walking out of the house. Jordan was listening to the conversation between us. He was watching us from the TV launch. Jordan walks up to Robert. I stopped and started looking at him.

He seemed fine. I look at Jordan from bottom to top.

Father, if you are fine with it, I can talk to him. The doctor said he would react this way when he woke up. "So, I think we should handle it patiently," Jordan said.

Suddenly, I remembered the bruises on Jordan's arms. I suddenly walk forward and grab Jordan’s arms. I lift Jordan’s shirt sleeves. Where are the bruises? Where have they gone? Did they hurt you?" Jordan was looking at me in astonishment. Robert intervened and jerked my hand. Let him go. You are scaring him!" Robert yelled.

He then looks at Jordan. You are right. He will be fine. You should not worry about him either. Just go and enjoy yourself with your brothers and sisters. "Your mother and I will take care of him," Robert said.

Jordan did not argue with him. He walks into the room and starts playing with his brothers and sister. Robert came near me. I do not want to create a scene here. At this time, guests have come, which is why I want you to have some patience and not act crazy.

Afterward, Robert walks upstairs. Jordan saw Emma exit the house. Emma walked up to me; I was sitting on the ground. I was in a terrible mood. As Emma reaches me, I look up at her.

Who are you? "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, can I sit here?" Emma said while looking down at me. I did not respond. I was just staring at the sun, which was setting behind the dark clouds. Emma sat next to me.

"So, you are also mad at me?" Emma asked.

"Who am I to be angry at you?" I had not seen you since I awoke. You just showed up today at my house and talked to me like you knew me my whole life. I said this while walking away from her.

Emma stood up and looked at her. I do not know what you are going through, but I want to help you through this tough time. You had a head injury, and because of that, you lost your memory. You are now having strange experiences that you believe are in the present, but they could be memories from your past. I am just saying that you should give your brain time. "It might help you remember," Emma said.

I stop and turn his face toward Emma. "How long have you known my family?" I inquire.

"Since I was born," Emma said.

So, you know me too. I know you are not the same person you were before today. You were a happy person. Now you are sad all the time. "I didn’t see you smile the whole day," Emma said.

I do not remember you. I also do not remember this place. I feel like it is not the place where I was born or raised. These people give me strange vibes. I spoke. I went to my bedroom. As I enter the room, I look in the mirror. I look at my shirt, which I was wearing.
