"I don't know what happened, woke up with it this morning, I guess it's the work of the ghosts... You know... " he softly remarked eying where she was looking at.
He had gotten drunk last night and accidentally knocked at the edges of the wall when he was going upstairs to his bedroom, it wasn't his fault, just that his vision had been blurred by alcohol.
"A ghost? You believe in that?" She lifted her head gazing at his eyes curiously, only a few people believed in those myths, but in reality, she knew those things didn't exist at all.
"Then how can you explain this? I don't recall getting injured here... " he innocently eyed her as she gazed at the gauzed wound, it wasn't that big but her heart ached.
She swiftly blew cool air from her mouth cooling the wound, "Be careful next time..." she believed he must have gotten hurt unknowingly, it does happen sometimes, getting accidental scratches.
