When I hugged her, she stiffened, maybe out of fear or confusion. But I had never been more grateful to meet Isa than I had been that day.

"Thank you sooooooooooo much!" I said still hugging her.

"You aren't mad at me, are you?"

"Of course not. Why would I be mad at you for saving my ass?" I asked.

"Quick question though, why would Kaira want to help Chiamaka with a plan that could hurt Alya? I mean, thinking about it now, it seemed like she was the only person in this room who actually liked Alya. So it's just confusing. Are you sure she was actually willing to help Chiamaka?" Alesscia asked Isa.

"I am not actually sure. It's just at the back of my mind that she has something to do with it but I have no concrete proof that she actually does. And I don't even think she would have a reason to help Chiamaka or actually gain anything from helping her. And she is just really really nice most times, it's kinda unnerving!" Isa said looking confused by her own words.
