Player Code X

Aside from the strange tower every other everything looked to be in place as they entered the town, it was like a clash of ancient and modern, most of the structures were built with an ancient type style however the tech used was high and that fact couldn’t be denied, he noticed androids in almost all sides of the city helping out in series of things. The dress code of the people told differently though as they still seemed to be dressing like those from the medieval era, but that was only the majority, a minority looked more modern.

While walking down the street Allison decided to ask, “Do you really think it’s a good idea to start up a faction?” she was quite bordered by the fact that they couldn’t leave the game and she knew this would be the same for a majority of those in the game.

The more people noticed that they weren’t able to leave the game, the more restless and chaotic the whole thing would become, making a faction in a situation like this would anyone be interested to join? And if they are rather than join someone else’s faction can’t they just easily make theirs?

“You see, with the way things are now, once more people find out there would be a lot of tension and a lot of people who feel insecure will go around forming teams and would go for factions that started out earlier to give them a sense of security, as they believe that the factions that started later won’t have as much experience as the older ones.

“This would indeed be of advantage to us, giving us a lot more members with result to a better stand against whatever we’re going to be facing till we eventually leave this place” he didn’t want to mention but he had a feeling they won’t be leaving for a good amount time.

After seeing him perform a lot of amazing feats and understanding him a bit more, Allison found him to be a very mysterious individual. He seemed to be looking far ahead of the possible outcomes and evaluating to know which was likely to happen, he was an interesting person, one she couldn’t understand.

Looking at him she felt her acquaintance with this person was a fated one, and for the main time, she’d like to know how much he’d achieve in this virtual world.

She wanted to see from a top player’s point of view, it was only later on it’d occurred to her who he really was and this was because of the condition they had been in at the time, but after she’d taken some time to ponder she remembered where she’d heard the name ‘Tenkin’. He happened to be the top player during the test program, coming out first.

Of course, she was well aware that Nolan himself was a top player, in fact, she’d been with him through the test program, and even though he had his specialties comparing him to the latter she knew he was far more experienced and had a deeper background. However, she didn’t even feel like she’d scratched the surface of Tenkin’s talents and his mysterious being.

‘Well Nolan till we meet again I’ll be with this one

‘hmph, why am I worried he’s the one who looked for my trouble he’ll come find me now himself’ she thought pouting her lips in displeasure.

A large notification popped up in the sky as the loud voice stated.

[Player Code X has become the first player in the wealth leaderboard ranking 1st]

[Player code X has become the first player has become the first player to purchase a tier 1 faction base]

Tenkin frowned upon seeing the notification, they all created their faction almost the same time so how possible was it for someone who had just entered the game to purchase a faction base that was worth thousands of Nano points?

Creating a faction was one thing, it carried seemingly no effort, and no resources whatsoever but then buying a tier one faction base 20 or so hours into the game was almost impossible, but it wasn’t fully impossible if the latter had a glitch in the system just like he himself did.

Even if he knew where some treasures were, thanks to the test program, there was no way for anyone to get them as it was extremely dangerous due to the type of enemy they’d need to face and with their current levels, he was pretty sure no one could defeat these enemies, so how?

‘There’s more to this’ he came to a conclusion with a deep frown on his face.

Nolan who had also arrived at the modern city had also seen the notification and was also stunned albeit a little ‘how could someone get that amount of nano points….. Doesn’t concern me I just need to find Allison or find a way out of here’ he shrugged his shoulders, showing no concern at all.

However the notification didn’t seem to be the end as a big notification also popped up in the sky, however, this one wasn’t accompanied by the loud voice and Nolan had to read it out himself.

It read ‘My fellow players in Modern City, I’d like you to converge to the location I’ll leave immediately after you’re all done reading this, as there is an important discussion I’d love us to converse on, player Code X’

Immediately he was done reading the screen changed showing a large map, showing the entirety of the modern city.

‘What are you waiting for, get there before you bore me with your lonely life’ Ra sharply said.

Now Nolan hated the idea of customizing a system into his character in the game, they were far more annoying than he thought, at least the stupid Ra that didn’t waste any chance it had to curse at him.

However, he had the best way to handle such, keeping quiet would eventually make them tire, at least that’s what he thought. Following the map he found his way round soon reaching the place. It was a large fort and had lots of rooms carrying a large amount of space. He moved forward going down a staircase which then led him to a round podium where lots of players were gathered and that’s when the realization struck him.
