The vampiress scoffed with twisted lips in displeasure, stricken by Falka's unexpected ridicule, she marched out of their sight.
Ares glanced at Falka with amusement in his eyes "I was half expecting that retort." He confessed.
Falka smiled "She seems to really be interested in you, I feel slightly bad I took her position." She said dryly.
"It was never hers to begin with." Ares remarked firmly and his reply made her cheeks heat with a shade of pink and she smiled demurely.
In silence, they walked down the Hall to their chambers were they would now share as husband and wife, but then, Ares halted midway.
"You may stay in your chambers if you like, it's not necessary to sleep together." Ares suggested.
