As they approached the people standing in the middle of the road, the man in the middle stepped out to talk to them. He first bowed,

"Greetings. My name is Hua Li, and I will be your guide. These men will take care of your mounts, so leave them here and follow me."

The elders leading the group finally breathed a sigh of relief. Among the elders, the man who previously spoke to the guards approached Hua Li and cupped his fists.
