A Night of Unexpected Twists

Brian is very tired now because his fight with Lily has taken away his precious sleep time.

"Today is a holiday, la la la, Yogo, playing "The Real Slim Shady" on a loop." The smart speaker complied, "Instant noodles should be ready, oh, the phone is ringing, hello? Oh, Jackson? What's the matter?"

"Hey! I bought "Justice 3"!" Jackson's voice was excited.

"Really? Wait for me! I'll be right there!" Brian said and hung up the phone.

The "Justice" series of games is about the heroic deeds of a policeman named Halson Morris, and the protagonist of this game is also Brian's idol.

Brian arrived at an apartment building. It was black and red, and all the windows were neatly lined up one after another.

Brian approached the glass door. The camera on the door was detecting Brian's identity. He turned on the X-Ray to check if there were any dangerous objects on his body. After confirmation, he turned 180 degrees and successfully opened the glass door.

There were five elevators: one on the 5th floor, one on the 20th floor, one on the 10th floor, one on the 18th floor, and one on the 1st floor.

"The highest floor here is 30 floors," Brian thought.

Brian pressed the button, and a few seconds later, the elevator door next to him opened. The interior was painted pure white, but he didn't bother to appreciate it. He quickly turned on the screen on the wall and then pressed the 30th floor.

"Going to the tallest building just to save money, you're better than me, boy," Brian said before pressing the close button.

"Hey! You go over there! You're blocking my trajectory!" Brian said to Alicia next to him.

"Oh, wait a minute." Alicia sprang into action, crouching her avatar down, and took out the LMG to strafe, and Brian took the opportunity to headshot every enemy he saw with the M-200.

"Hey, it's a pity that I still have Friendly Damage." Jackson pretended to be disappointed.

"You understand our tacit understanding, and you don't want to play PUBG anymore." Brian replied.

"So how did you make it so fast?"

"You haven't been beaten, have you?" Alicia threatened.

"Okay, let me save it." Jackson looked at the clock and said, "It's 8 o'clock."

"Shit! My vacation homework!" Brian wanted to leave immediately.

"Okay, but I didn't expect this game to have a two-player mode." Alicia was a little reluctant.

"AI is so smart, it always steals my limelight every day." Jackson said while archiving.

"Then you should read more books and find ways to be better than AI." Alicia said.

"Tell me about yourself first." The tacit understanding between Brian and Jackson was shown this time.

They separated like this, without even saying goodbye because they had said it too many times when they were young, and they were tired of saying it.

The apartment in the dorm was only five blocks away, and Brian whined silently.

The trouble was, on the third street he was on, he saw several robot vacuums bumping into a person because they were too far away to see the whole picture.

"How is this guy sleeping here?" Brian thought to himself.

He went over to take a closer look, and it was a woman in a black coat, and the pants were black jeans of the same style as his.

"Hey miss, wake up." Brian chose to shake her awake until he found a puddle of liquid on his hand.

Blood

Immediately afterwards, he noticed a stone flying towards him. He instinctively squatted down, and the stone hit a sweeping robot. When he turned his head, he saw that a hole had opened in the robot's body.

"What a stone!" Brian thought.

"It's not a stone," a lazy man's voice reached his ears, "that's something I can make. I can make cement." He looked at the man, who was a blonde wearing a suit. "Don't think my ability is useless. Whether an ability is useful or not depends on whether the user's brain is working well." The man licked his lips after speaking.

"Why are you killing people?" Brian secretly used his cell phone and expertly dialed the number of the nearest police station he knew.

"You don't want to ask," the man replied.

"Then I'll call until you tell me."

"A lot of people say that."

"And so will I." Brian pocketed the phone and walked over to the man, who just stood there waiting for him to approach.

"Want to play cowboy? I like that too." The man's eyes changed from laziness to excitement.

"You're not like those hooligans. Well, as you wish." Brian continued walking, not taking a step back until his shoes were almost touching the man.

He just realized that he didn't have a knife, but anyway, he usually relied on his fists.
