"Kill them, leave no one alive!" The guy in the white robe appeared on the car overpass out of nowhere.
"Sir, didn't you say we should keep one alive?" a tall guy said.
"I don't want that anymore! Take them out! Quickly, to prevent any future trouble!"
"Fire!" As soon as the tall guy's words landed, the rocket launchers behind them were propelled downward by a deafening roar.
Gordon hurriedly conjured iron sand and scattered it into the air. Suddenly, shadows started to grow around them. When he looked up, the iron sand had formed a wall, blocking their view of the sky.
BOOM!
A force dispersed the iron sand, and Gordon suffered a backlash. He suddenly jumped, his hands twitching uncontrollably. Then he hit his head on the ground and closed his eyes, completely losing consciousness.
"Hurry up! Next one!" The tall guy quickly raised his hand. "Fire!"
Another rocket was propelled towards them by the thunderous sound. Even if they managed to dodge it, they'd be caught in the explosion wave. And there were still a third and a fourth rocket to come.
In other words, this shot was the Grim Reaper, ending their lives.
Alice couldn't bear it. She didn't want to see anyone die right before her eyes, so she had the urge to punch the rocket in front of her.
...
Suddenly, the rocket stopped mid-air and shot through the dark clouds like a real rocket, heading towards the yellow moon.
"Kids, you sure know how to cause trouble," the man with the goatee and distinctive coat remarked, his big hair and coat making him stand out.
"Uncle!" Janice looked at the man who had just stood up again, Michael, with surprise.
"And me!" A blond guy stood on the car overpass, clutching his cross necklace and pointing his index finger at the approaching enemies. "Bye."
Fire!
A massive shockwave swept across the ground, leaving a straight scar on the enemies and smashing the cars in front of them.
Our reinforcements had arrived.
