Michael's Unrelenting Assault

Michael blinked his eyes three times rapidly and entered his "Thought Domain."

For any Level 5 superhuman, their abilities manifest, condensing into a shaped body.

This domain was Michael's ability taking physical form.

In this world, everything was composed of 0s and 1s, whether it was the air, the weeds on the fake mountain, or the enemies before him. They all became combinations of 0s and 1s.

In this place, it felt as though time had stopped. Nothing moved except for Michael.

In this domain, Michael controlled these 0s and 1s. However, he suddenly realized that something was wrong.

He couldn't manipulate the 0s and 1s of these enemies! Whether it was their physical bodies, their clothes, or even the firearms, he couldn't control them!

He suspected that these individuals were carrying something given to them by the future person, which disrupted his abilities. So, he decided to exit his "Thought Domain."

But because of this, he realized he had to dodge their bullets because he couldn't manipulate them either.

Suddenly, a strong light flashed in the world made up of 0s and 1s, and all the 0s and 1s disappeared. Michael accepted the embrace of that light and returned to the original world.

However, from Kraut's perspective, Michael had been standing there the whole time, without moving. Just as Michael returned, Kraut gave the order to pull the triggers.

The light machine guns on the ground, influenced by fear, continuously spewed flames, and the bullets shot towards Michael at incredible speed.

Michael smiled for a moment, realizing that he couldn't control the bullets, but that didn't mean he couldn't control other things!

He increased the hardness of the soil on the fake mountain to the limit and formed a wall in front of himself, blocking the bullets that could have killed him.

Kraut paused for a moment but then understood; his disruptor was working!

The disruptor was attached to the chests of those people, like a metallic band-aid, disrupting Michael's ability through sound waves.

"You've prepared quite well," Michael said after breaking down the wall.

"Well, after all, we're dealing with the TOWER's NO.1," Kraut shrugged.

"But do you really think you can win like this?" Michael revealed a chilling smirk that sent shivers down the spines of everyone present.

Immediately, Kraut gave the order to open fire again, and he threw a grenade.

Michael enhanced the strength of his leg muscles and jumped forcefully. The ground shook as a crater appeared, making it difficult for those on the ground to maintain their balance.

Just as he jumped into the air, he kicked the grenade high into the sky. Thanks to Michael's leg strength, it gained incredible speed and flew higher and higher until it exploded. The resulting explosion was like a rising sun, illuminating the entire sky and shaking the ground.

The enemies on the ground couldn't appreciate the sky as they instinctively manipulated their firearms, urging them to fire at Michael. He had to reduce the effect of gravity on himself, allowing him to fly freely and successfully evade the bullets.

Then, he dove back to the ground with force!

DONG!

People around were sent flying into the air with this tremendous sound, and the fake mountain now had an even larger crater than before. The cracks continued to expand, almost splitting the mountain in two.

Kraut was also affected, suspended in mid-air. He had just been astonished by the immense power of the TOWER's NO.1 member when Michael grabbed him by the neck and forcefully threw him towards the fake mountain.

Kraut quickly pressed something on his chest, and with a "BI" sound, his protective suit activated. Countless nanites flowed out of his chest, covering his entire body in the blink of an eye.

He fell to the ground but continued to fly backward due to the force of Michael's throw, scraping against the soil until he crashed into a tree. He spun in the air a couple of times before coming to a stop.

Hehehehehe...

Kraut looked at the monstrous creature before him, a smile filled with fear creeping onto his face. He couldn't move, not because of this monster but because of his own fear.

"Future man, are you ready?" Michael squatted down, reaching for the metallic band-aid on Kraut's chest and crushed it.

Kraut's expression turned to despair.

Michael finally raised one of his hands, ready to kill this future man.

But he immediately realized something was wrong.

He couldn't kill him! Whether it was disintegrating his body or making his heart explode, he couldn't do it!

"Hmph, number one," Kraut struggled to get up, looking at the bewildered Michael. "You missed something! You see, past people can't kill future people, and future people can't kill past people! Only past people can kill past people, and future people can kill future people! We're from different times, and we can't determine each other's life or death! In other words, I'm invincible here!"

Michael was shocked by this sudden revelation. This meant he couldn't stop the future person in front of him. He also understood that this was an endless battle because they couldn't be killed, but it didn't mean they couldn't be hurt.
