Time to Act

Brian lay on the hospital bed, watching the news of Jackson and Alicia constantly on the run. He silently complained about how they got involved in a massive escape game, praying that they would overcome the dangers.

Currently working on his homework in the hospital bed, he occasionally lifted his head to check the news, listening to what the news anchor was saying. If he heard about any danger to Jackson and the others, he would immediately grab the wooden sword he had asked the doctor to place by his bed and rush to help, regardless of whether he might die on the spot... or perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Outside the window was a deep blue dawn, with no sun yet visible. Still, the room's silhouette was clear, although no windows revealed any light, making it seem as if a dark mountain was covered by a long, deep blue cloud.

Suddenly, a dragon-like lightning bolt shattered the roof of an apartment from within, piercing through the deep blue cloud. For Brian, an early bird, it opened up a ray of light.

For some reason, Brian's sixth sense kicked in, telling him one thing: Alicia and Jackson were in danger!

"F***ing SHIT!" Brian cursed, grabbing the wooden sword next to his bed. He dodged the encirclement of five security guards, knocking out two of them in the process.

He immediately ran out of the hospital; his time had come.
