"My lady, Baroness Lillian, came to meet you." Mary let go of the sleeping child in her lap. She placed Alec slowly on the bed before standing up.

"At this time?" It was still so early.

"Yes, and she had come with her head covered. She refused to reveal her identity to anyone." Daisy cleared her throat awkwardly.

The lady desperately wanted to hide her meeting with the duchess. 

"Ah! I got it." Mary waved her hands and walked out when the maid stared at her.

She used to barge into the Lord's room in her nightgown. But now she was even going to attend the guests that way.

"My lady, you should change your clothes first and wash yourself." Mary paused. It was not like they had a brush here.

They use a wooden piece to rub on their teeth and tongue. She had thought of designing a brush but did not know how bristles could be made without plastic and the exact paste formula, so she gave up.
