2 weeks later

I was in my room, catching up on some reading and listening to 'fuck it I love you by Lana del ray' when I'd heard a knock on my window. I turned and looked over to see Mason, he looked weak and fragile as he sat on the window sill. I walked over to him with worry in eyes and opened up the window.

His body fell into my room and I looked over at him. His hands were bloody and there was a cut across his stomach. I felt my heart drop at the scene, what the fuck?

"What happened to you!?" I swallowed. I picked up my phone and started to dail 911 but Mason's hands hit my phone leading it fall onto the floor. He used the rest of his energy to move himself next to bed on the floor. My hand pulled up his shirt and saw the deep wound. I could feel his warm blood on my fingers and more panic arises in me.

"Don't call...ambulance." He winced with agitation.

"Well what do you expect me to do, you're bleeding! My foster parents aren't home!"

"No, no don't argue. Don't tell anyone please!" His voice was frail and he looked over at me.

"Mason, I'll be right back. Stay here." I went over to where my phone had landed and picked it back up. I texted Sebastian and asked if he could come over to my house with a first aid kit. He did volunteer at a veterinary clinic so he'll know more about this than me.

"W-what'd you do?"

"I texted Sebastian. He's worked with blood so he'll probs know how to deal with that. But you need to explain yourself."

"Well..." I heard the door bell ring, great timing. I went down the stairs and opened the door pulling Sebastian in by the collar.

"Don't freak or anything ok?" I said before pulling him into the room.

"Ain't this interesting." He whispered under his breath. "I've never worked on stitches on a human but hey first time for everything." He went to Mason and started to stitch and bandage him up. I watched as Mason's guilty eyes scanned me, what did you get yourself into? I breathed in a sigh. "He'll need to rest on it for a while and don't do too much, take it all easy. Also do you think you can stand? I think you should go wash the blood off your hands."

"I've learnt how to walk my whole damn life so I'd be pretty pissed if my legs fail me now." He stood up and made his way towards the door but he stopped at the door frame staring at me and Sebastian.

"Relax, it's not like I'm gonna kiss or fuck her with your blood still on me." Sebastian joked. Mason's eyes darted to me.

"Go." I said looking away from him and he did.

"So what'd he say happened to him then?" Sebastian questioned.

"He hasn't yet."

"I think your little boyfriend there has got himself involved in some pretty serious stuff."

"I know but he won't speak about it."

"Maybe all you need to do is make him talk. You have your charms." At this point I'll actually try anything. Maybe I should try fucking the truth out of him. "Or if that doesn't work, get him a bit drunk, questions while drunk can lead to some truth."

"I'll try it out. I just hope that it's not going to be super bad."

"And if it is?" Sebastian asked, taking off his gloves.

"I'll decide when it comes. I do love him. A lot. So, I don't know what I'll do."

"Love. Wow. Big step." Sebastian looked down at the trail of blood that Mason had left behind. "You'll probably need help cleaning this up. Get vinegar and hydrogen peroxide. You have that?"  I nodded and went down to look.

Mason's POV

I'd finished washing my hands but I stayed in the bathroom. Why did I bring her into my mess? What will I tell her? What if she starts poking around? What if she finds out the truth? My heartbeat intensified thinking of all the possible outcomes. Mason. She loves you. Yes. Liana loves me. She doesn't need to find the truth. You can't let her find out the truth. It'll crush her, right? When she asks, I got into a supposed fight. It didn't exactly end well. I don't want dumb shit like this happening again. Why even come to her? Why even meet her? Well, if I was going to die, I'd rather die in the arms of her. I'd rather her be the last person I set my eyes on. Yes, it's a bit cruel and selfish on my part but I'm not having her see my name on the news as a dead person, at least if I did die, I could've said bye. I love my angel more than I should. I need her, every waking minute of the day. I sucked in some air into my lungs and went back into her bedroom.

Julianna's POV

I was dragging my hands across the floor with the help of Sebastian trying to get the blood removed from my room. Fuck, a warning that he was coming over with blood on him would've been nice. Really.

"Liana, could I-" I stood up before he could continue his sentence. I dragged him out of the room and into the bathroom.

"Talk." I ordered.
