Jiang Xiu who had been quiet all this whole time, voiced, "Then let's see whose class average score is higher next exam."
It went quiet for a few seconds then the students from Class One started laughing.
"Ah look, isn't this Jiang Xiu? Do you think you can help those punks get better scores now that you're one of them? Think more about it, they're at the bottom class for a reason."
Wan Zhu grabbed Jiang Xiu, "Ay, Xiao Xiu, why are you digging our own grave?"
Gao Tian couldn't help but comment also, "We don't need to compare with them, so take it easy."
"You might already know this but I still want to remind you that I'm the last in my class in my previous school." Kang Jinhai added.
Jiang Xiu pursed her lips when she heard that.
These past few days she can see that the students from Class Eleven aren't really that 'dumb' when it comes to academics, they simply don't care enough to put effort into it.
She thought that if her classmates gave their best shot in studying, surely their class average score wouldn't be that low right?
Xia Mingzhou who was missing all this time suddenly appeared.
She just finished doing her warm-up for her badminton competition this afternoon and just went to the field to support her friend, San Fang.
"What's happening?"
Lai Li turned to her and explained, "Class Eleven wants to compare our class average score next exam."
"Isn't it just comparing?" Xia Mingzhou asked in a doubtful tone.
"To see which class has the higher class average score."
"Then what's the point?"
The other students laughed at her statement.
There's no point in betting on something when the result is already fixed.
Kang Jinhai can't believe what he's hearing.
He never knew that people could be this shameless. He scoffed, as his eyes were filled with ridicule glanced from one person to another, "It was your class who stated that we could only talk to you if our class average score is worth your attention. Now that we took up the challenge, you start saying some bullshit. I don't know why we're wasting our time talking to all of you when your sports competition results aren't even worth our attention also."
Wan Zhu who heard that patted him on his shoulders, "Ay! You're learning from me, aren't you?"
"You didn't even start acting haughty until you used some filthy tricks to beat us in a basketball game. Your faces are all incredibly thick," Added another classmate of theirs.
Class One surely used some shady tricks for Gao Tian to beat their player up.
That guy is always serious when he's playing sports. So it's quite doubtful why he suddenly treated the other player like that.
"What? You can't accept that you lost the game so now you're accusing us of playing dirty?"
"What? You can't accept that you lost the sprint so now you're using the class average score to push us down?"
"Ah, I really want to slap all of you but I would only hurt myself with how thick your faces are." Kang Jinhai stated as he started to flick his wrist.
He wasn't fond of talking shit, it would have been better if they started throwing punches at each other.
The only thing that is stopping him from throwing the first punch was his father's words, 'If you cause any trouble for me, I'll let Jiang Yue discipline you. Let's see if you still have the guts to start making trouble.'
His father, a Mayor of a city, really used a girl's name to threaten him.
The thing is, it was very effective.
Jiang Yue who just got back after changing to another sports attire, raised her brow when she saw the tight atmosphere between the two classes.
"Brother Yue, you're here! Why don't we just settle this with a fight?" Kang Jinhai went up to her and excitedly asked.
If Jiang Yue agreed, doesn't that mean his father's words held no weight?
"You—"
"What? You challenged us with something that you're good at and now that we're doing the same thing, you refuse? Aren't you all shameless?" The students from Class One were stupefied by Kang Jinhai's words.
"When did you become so wordy?" Jiang Yue couldn't help but ask.
One thing she knows about King Jinhai is that this guy doesn't have the patience to talk shit with anyone and would instead prefer to throw punches.
"I learned from my good brother here," Kang Jinhai proudly stated and swung his arm around Wan Zhu's shoulder.
"Big Brother, they started insulting you just because you won the sprint, and now they keep talking about fuckin' scores," Wan Zhu explained to her.
"Oh, Cousin is here." Xia Mingzhou wasn't interested in the discussion but when she saw Jiang Yue, her hatred for the two Jiang Sisters started to bubble up again.
"Then why don't we accept Class Eleven's challenge? Let's compare our class average score this next mock exam." Xia Mingzhou suggested to her classmates.
"Wouldn't that only waste our time?"
"It was your class who challenged us with the class average score not us, don't get it twisted," Gao Tian commented as his eyes coldly glanced at Xia Mingzhou.
"Then let's challenge each other. If you all don't want to compare the class average score, then let's compare the highest score for the next mock exam," Lai Li suggested.
Comparing the highest score is much harder compared to comparing the class average score.
If all of them studied, they could still pull the average score, but when it comes to the highest score, studying for the next few days wouldn't be enough to beat Class One's highest score.
Class Eleven is aware of this also. Just as they were about refuse, a voice stated, "Fine with us."
They all turned their heads towards Jiang Yue, who agreed so readily.
