"When you block the ball, pass it to me and I'll attack," Jiang Yue said, making her classmates pause. But when they considered her previous performances, they eventually nodded.
The six of them went back to their court and took their positions.
Each class won one set, advancing them to the game's third set.
The game began with Class One ahead with 11 points and Class Eleven trailing with 6.
Class One will win the game with four more points.
Class One delivered the serve, and it appears that their strategy changed as they are now aiming at Class Eleven's team member, who was not particularly quick in her reflexes.
But contrary to their expectation, Jiang Yue was able to get the ball and pass it to one of their team.
The other team player spiked, but it was blocked once more by Jiang Yue. Then she passed it to her team who spiked as well but was not prevented by the other team, earning them one point.
Class Eleven served the ball.
After Class Eleven's serve was deflected, Jiang Yue went for a kill, striking the ball to the other side of the net, resulting in a point.
Class Eleven has already scored two points in less than ten minutes.
The students who were watching were already anticipating Class Eleven catching up with the points.
"What shall we do, Leader? Class Eleven will catch up at this point!" Class One members asked their volleyball team leader, who had been a volleyball player since her first year.
Her pupils constricted as she instructed, "Let's make Jiang Yue leave the court."
The others nodded and returned to their posts with a determined expression on their faces.
And just like that, every Class One attack was aimed at Jiang Yue, and each one was a spike!
Jiang Yue, on the other hand, was able to deflect each attack.
The rally between Class One and Jiang Yue was so swift that other students who were watching are struggling to keep up.
Jiang Yue abruptly shifted her aim and hit the ball toward the player's corner.
It was so fast that the other team's girl couldn't deflect the ball, which smacked her on the side of her face, and the power was enough to knock her to the ground.
"That was a good one, Jiang Yue!" Her teammates applauded and high-fived her, "They get what they deserve, hehe."
The score was now 9 and 11.
Another player was substituted by Class One.
The following rallies, however, were similar to the previous ones.
Jiang Yue's hits were always on-target, and they were all intended at the players rather than aiming to earn a point.
She was doing the same thing Class One did before!
And Class One can barely avoid it, making their team's coordination a mess.
The students' cheer was getting louder with each point she earned.
No one was already cheering 'Class One' at this point.
Class Eleven won the game when they ultimately achieved 15 points with a four-point lead over the other team. That means they were unable to score after Jiang Yue entered the game, and Class Eleven managed to catch up with the points!
The volleyball team from Class Eleven all high-fived Jiang Yue with wide smiles on their faces.
"I had no idea you were so good at volleyball!"
"How long have you been playing?"
"A day."
All of them were taken aback by Jiang Yue's response.
This girl carried the game and she had only played volleyball for a day?
Jiang Yue explained as she touched her nose, a little overwhelmed by their reactions, "I only know the rules, I've never played it before."
"Holy shit, are you for real?"
"You're really Class Eleven's dark horse!"
Some of Class Eleven's students on the bleachers had already approached them with a proud grins on their faces.
"That was satisfying to watch hahaha."
"We only need to win 2 more sports and we'll have Class One apologizing to us!"
"Jiang Yue will undoubtedly win the badminton, now we only have to worry about the Rule in Rivalry Tournament."
Kang Jinhai who heard that along with Jiang Xiu and the others, commented, "Ay Brother! You're worrying for nothing! Our Brother right here is a veteran in Rule in Rivalry! She'll carry the game for us!"
Even the account that Jiang Yue gave to Jiang Xiu was a veteran account and one of the top 100 accounts in the worldwide leaderboards.
Jiang Yue only carried him in the game with the account she gave to Jiang Xiu, so he had never seen her use her main account, but he knows her main account was around the top 20 in the worldwide leaderboard.
He just doesn't know which one it is.
The classmate didn't take his words seriously, "Even if we lost it's fine, it's just cleaning their hallways anyway!"
Kang Jinhai smacked the head of the said classmate for not believing him.
Just wait!
They'd surely start calling Jiang Yue their 'father' once they've known who she is in the Rule and Rivalry game!
