Cheng Jiayi wasn't removed from her team

Sitting on her bed in her room, Cheng Jiayi was checking her phone for a call. 

She answered the phone as soon as she finally heard it ring. 

"What did Coach say, Cousin?" She nervously asked as her other hand fumbled her bed sheets.

"We'll try to keep the news about this issue under wraps. Although your reputation has been tarnished, Coach won't kick you because doing so would make the team seem bad, after all, you just joined the team." Cheng Yazhu uttered on the other hand.

Cheng Jiayi breathed out of relief.

It's a good thing she's not being dismissed because that would be too embarrassing.

"Stay low for the time being, as some players are now cursing our team for accepting you," said Cheng Yazhu and she could only purse her lips.

She knows that their team is now receiving criticism for allowing a player like her on the team.
