Fu Xifeng grabbed the uniformed officer and questioned, "There are three fingerprints on the phone, right? Mine, the suspect, and someone else?" Her tone of voice was higher, as she was excited when she thought about it, "Can you then identify the individual whose fingerprint that is?"
"We can't identify the person because her fingerprint hasn't been recorded," the officer said, shaking his head, "those on whom we have data were convicted criminals, therefore we can't determine her identity unless she has previously been convicted."
Fu Xifeng's smile became strained as she nodded and thanked the officer.
Fu Liwei seeing the disheartened look on his sister, asked with a furrowed brow, "You didn't ask for the name of the person who helped you?"
She shook her head, and Fu Liwei flicked the girl's forehead, causing her mouth to droop as she looked at her brother.
"Did you forget what Mom told us?"
