She then checked her phone and continued, "A friend of mine recommended a restaurant. I haven't tried it yet, but how about we give it a shot? Might be a but pricey though." She then added with a chuckle, "Luckily, I just received my allowance from my brother."

"Anywhere works for me as long as they serve food," Jiang Xiu remarked, reaching for her phone.

It was already 6:30 pm, and Jiang Yue's classes should have ended by now.

Just then, the door opened, and in walked Guan Ying. Yan Meixiu seeing her, exclaimed happily as she walked to her roommate, "Guan Ying! It's great that you're back!"

Guan Ying, whose demeanor was similar to Jiang Yue's and had an attitude like Jiang Xiu's, immediately distanced herself from Yan Meixiu, who was about to hook her arm with hers.

"Finally done with your classes?" Jiang Xiu asked with a small smile from her bed. Guan Ying nodded, heading to her side of the dorm, leaving Yan Meixiu by the door.
