Lich’s nightmare (2)

There was no time for me to think about what was happening either as the giant lich didn't seem to stop what it was doing.

After missing me with one hand, the lich switched to the other hand and tried to grab me.

It was just too bad for the giant lich that it was moving slowly and it was so big that it was quite easy for me to dodge out of the way. It took no effort at all on my part to move out of the way of the giant bone hand that came down at me.

I didn't understand what was happening or what the lich was doing.

After all, if it was the lich, then why didn't it just use its dark energy to grab me.

Why was it relying on a crude method like trying to catch me with its hands like this?

Especially when it was clear that this just wasn't working.

It didn't seem to make any sense at all.

The more that I thought about this, the more that this seemed like some kind of dream…
