This mark was the same as the mark that was on my hand.

At the same time, the aura that it gave off was the same as the one that my Mark of God gave off.

With this, there was no mistaking that this was a real Mark of God.

The only problem was why there was this Mark of God that suddenly appeared on Joan's head like this. 

It didn't seem like the kind of thing that would just appear out of thin air, this was the kind of thing that seemed like it would only appear when it was bestowed by the gods. There was no sign that the gods had descended, so who had given Joan this Mark of God?

But the fact that Joan received this Mark of God allowed her to survive the attack that she blocked.

Because of the Mark of God, there was this faint layer of divine energy that appeared around Joan that blocked the damage from that wave of dark energy. It even seemed to purify the wave of dark energy that was hitting her.
