The answer to that came in the form of a strange phenomenon.
The liquid in the cauldron wasn't completely opaque, so the Fairy Tear could still be seen even after it sunk down into the liquid.
It seemed like there was nothing that could touch the Fairy Tear with the barrier that was around it. That was until there was something that seemed to be diffusing out of the liquid into the Fairy Tear.
It first diffused into the layer of mana that was around the Fairy Tear, but it wasn't being absorbed by that layer of mana.
It went through the layer of mana until it reached the Fairy Tear.
Once it reached the Fairy Tear, there was finally a reaction from the Fairy Tear.
There was a colour change that came from the Fairy Tear.
The Fairy Tear itself was a bead of dew that didn't seem to have any colours to it. Or it was better to say that the Fairy Tear was something that didn't seem to have a single trace of impurity to it.
