Capturing the criminal

The sly looking noble just had a look of shock and disbelief on his face as he was surrounded in flames.

Even in his final moments, he just couldn't believe that this was how he went out.

But there was no escape when his entire manor was being engulfed in flames like this.

Though he could use his barrier, it wasn't as if that barrier would protect him forever. Especially with the weak amount of mana that he had supporting that barrier in the first place.

"I curse you." That was the last thing that the sly looking noble could say as he looked at me and Ann.

However, I didn't feel a single thing from his words.

I just turned to Ann and said, "Well, it's time to finish this show."

She gave a simple nod in response.

"Why is it on fire?"

"Go and save him!"

"If anything happens to his majesty, then we're all dead!"

That was the response of the people outside the manor.
