Chapter 39: Right Hand Disabled

After listening to what was said, Simon was both angry and anxious, and his whole body shook as if he was about to collapse, and he said, "What's the use of telling me all this now? If only you treated her better and didn't humiliate her, she wouldn't have committed suicide because she couldn't take it anymore!"

As he spoke, Simon reached out to grab the urn in William's hand.

William's heart tightened, afraid of hurting Simon, he didn't resist and could only hold onto the urn more tightly. He had vowed never to let Jessica leave his side again.

William still tightly held onto the urn in his arms despite Simon's anger. Simon couldn't control his rage any longer and picked up a cane from the ground, fiercely striking William. "Will you let go or not?" Simon shouted.

"No!" William refused. The blow was heavy and William heard his bones breaking, but he endured the pain, holding onto the urn with all his might.
