Chapter 41: You were not dead?

"Isabella, how many times has Mommy told you not to touch other people's things? If you do it again, Daddy will scold you when he comes back," the woman blamed, gently.

"Daddy won't scold me, he loves me the most," Isabella said, as she wiped away her tears, obediently ran to her side and behaved.

"You're quite the smooth talker, little one," The woman smiled slightly, carrying a plate of spaghetti in her hand and walking up to William. "Sir, here is the spaghetti you ordered. My cooking skills aren't the best, so please bear with me."

"Sir?" she inquired after receiving no response for a few seconds. The woman put down the spaghetti and, seeing that William didn't respond but instead just stared at her intently, with emotions in his eyes that were like unbelievably absurdity and ecstatic disbelief, couldn't help but call out again in confusion.
