Orpheus Athanasiou was a young, weak student that faced every difficulty a weak magus faced. Being called a late bloomer by everyone because of his poor ability affinity and was bullied for this reason but it all changed when he was sent on a school expedition, which everyone thought was to kill him. 

Right there on the expedition, he met an elemental beast that seemed to be guarding an ability orb. While trying to save himself from the assault of the beast he absorbed the element in the orb not knowing whether the orb was corrupted or not.
On waking up, the beast told him that he absorbed an element that contained the soul of its former user 

Time went on until a prophecy was made that the life of humanity as a whole is at stake and they needed to embark on a quest to enable them fend off the danger.
Orpheus was chosen as one of the people to embark on this quest where he met the four guardian beasts. They took him to the Universe who told him that he was the chosen one in a prophecy

The Undying Magus

In the dark cave that was situated in the outskirts of Marco's city, hundred men stood in an orderly manner, while being separated into four 25-man squads; one squad for each knight

"You should be thankful Lord Miguel agreed to your plea of a hundred men" Xavier said to Valentin as they stared as Valentina who sat at one corner of the cave, sulking.

"It doesn't determine whether or not she'll take this seriously. She's hard to control during missions, that's why the lord always sends her on one-man missions" Valentin shook his head

"They're ready" Jude walked up to them "And the sun has set"

"Finally" Valentin turned to the army behind him

Then his eyes suddenly glowed red as a red circular shockwave burst out of his body and travelled through Marco's city

"For Lord Miguel!!" Jude and Xavier yelled and dashed out of the cave with their respective squads

"Tina" Valentin turned to his sister
