The Scarlet mist Incident (Part 2)

As the morning sun spills its golden hues over the Hakurei Shrine, Richard stirs from his restless sleep, his eyes adjusting to the gentle glow. The weight of the impending Scarlet Mist incident settles on him like a heavy cloak.

*sign*

Richard: "I guess its today huh, time to go with my plan then"

Richard starts doing a morning stretch while starting to sit up

As he rises to his feet, the familiar sights of the Hakurei Shrine surround him, each detail etched in his memory. The shrine's serenity is deceptive, masking the turmoil of Gensokyo's imminent crisis.

Richard: "if only there was something sudden and convenient that would help me with solving this incident"

Richard: "Most of this sounds like trash but what is this seer potion thing"

Richard: "hmm... what should I do about the other items though"

Richard: "..."

Richard: "I guess I can give the sunflower to that sunflower field yokai I forgot the name of"

Richard: "The wizard hat I can wear once I'm done with this incident, since I'm meant to be Reimu after all"

Richard: "and I guess ill eat the apple pie when I'm waiting for the mist incident to start, but only when I'm at my waiting spot that I made"

Richard: "speaking off that, I should probably head over now"

Richard Then uses Gojos blue ability and starts to slowly levitate into the air

Richard: "its so difficult to get a hold off this, how the hell does gojo do it?"

Richard: "its easier when I'm flying straight though"

Richard then starts flying over to the scarlet devil mansion

As Richard navigates the night sky using Gojo's borrowed ability, the Scarlet Devil Mansion comes into view beneath him. The imposing structure is bathed in the moonlight, its ominous silhouette casting long shadows on the grounds.

Richard descends with controlled grace, landing silently on the outskirts of the mansion. His keen yokai senses detect the presence of both familiar and unfamiliar entities within. Now its just time to wait.

Richard sits on the grass that's pretty far away from the mansion and just starts to wait

Time seems to stretch as Richard maintains his watchful stance. He recalls the layout of the mansion, the potential threats inside, and the delicate balance he must maintain to fulfill his mission without revealing his true identity.

Richard: "I'm bored, I wish my waiting spot was at the misty lake so I could at least fish"

Richard: "But then I would need to deal with Cirno, I would probably burst out laughing looking at her because I can only imagine her as a fumo"

Richard: "You know now that I think about it I have not seen my status in a while, system show it to me"

Richard lays back into the grass and try's to think of ways to sooth his boredom

Richard: "guess ill just need to wait, damn it"

As the moments pass, Richard becomes acutely aware of the Scarlet Mist beginning to manifest. A subtle change in the air, a shifting energy that heralds the onset of the incident. The mist, with its mystical properties, begins to envelop the mansion, obscuring it from view.

Richard: "Here we go."

His heart beats with a steady rhythm as he prepares to navigate through the enigmatic Scarlet Mist, using the borrowed powers and strategic planning to confront the challenges that lie ahead. The Scarlet Devil Mansion awaits, shrouded in danger

Richard Fly's over the gate to the door of the mansion, he is not stopped since Meiling is sleeping at the gate

Richard: "Open sesame"

Richard enters the mansion and is quick in trying to navigate to where Remilia scarlet is, he dashes through corridor after corridor and ends up in a library

Richard: "shit, I think this is Patchouli's library"

Patchouli: "Who said that, who are you?"

Richard turns his head the other way to see the anaemic magician turning a corner to confront him

Richard: "I am Reimu and I'm here to stop this incident"

Patchouli: "Hmm you arrived faster than I would of liked, bur you are no match for my firepower"

Patchouli's book that she is holding starts to levitate and a magic circle forms from this book, emitting a powerful light that shows just how powerfull this spell is

Richard: "Shit, I can feel the amount of mana coming off of that!"

Patchouli: "The fire this creates is so hot it can melt diamon-"

Suddenly the magic circle forms a crack and shatters, releasing a large amount of black ash all over Patchouli's face and in her mouth since she was talking

*Cough* *Cough* *Cough*

Richard: "HAHA, serves you right"

Patchouli's Starts coughing even harder and suddenly falls to her knees with her arms holding her up as she begins coughing even harder

*Cough* *Cough* *Cough*

Richard's smirk slowly falls down and he grows a face of worry and concern

Richard: "Uh are you okay?"

Patchouli, still coughing violently, struggles to regain her composure. The black ash clings to her clothes and fills the air around her.

Richard hesitates, torn between the urgency of his mission and the sight of Patchouli in distress. His intention was never to cause harm, and he didn't expect the unexpected turn of events.

Richard: "I... didn't mean for that to happen."

Patchouli, still gasping for breath, looks up at Richard with a mixture of irritation and vulnerability.

Koakuma hears the commotion and runs over to see what is happening

Koakuma, the small devil librarian, rushes over upon hearing the commotion. She surveys the scene, taking in the sight of the coughing Patchouli and the concerned Richard.

Koakuma: "PATCHOULI ARE YOU OKAY!?!?!?!?"

Koakuma goes to her and sits oh her knees and starts shaking Patchouli who is still violently coughing

Koakuma then looks at Richard angrily and signals him to leave with her raising her arm to the exit

Richard: "..."

Richard: "..."

Richard: "ill be on my wat then"

Richard sprints out of the library and into a nearby corridor still searching for the way to Relimia
