She looked at me and probably noticed my upset face, so she asked me, "What's wrong?"
Of course, I wouldn't say anything about Fiona. I rubbed my belly and squeezed out a smile. "My stomach is bleeding. I'm not feeling well."
"Oh, is it serious?"
"Yes, I even vomited blood. I thought I would die."
"Do you fear death?"
"Of course, no one wants to die."
She stood there for a while as if she was thinking. Then she returned the cigarette to me and said, "Then I won't buy it."
I was confused.
I didn't know why the beautiful lady did so after knowing about my stomach bleeding.
But I couldn't force her to buy it, so I gave the cash back to her.
When it was almost morning, Ms. Chambers called me again and asked me how much cash I had received.
I told her that there were only about 60 dollars in cash today. She then asked me to replenish stocks of alcohol with the money.
Only then did I find that the alcohol in the store was almost sold out. It must have been sold during the day.
