a story about a power hungry half human half demon boy who was estranged by his childhood friend, best friend and step sister. 


Kaneki Higanbana was estranged by 3 girls when they got into high school because they fall for a guy name Ryueki itadori.


one day he accidentally met Ryueki itadori's childhood friend and crush Natsuki Mizutani who has the ability to see the "color" of a persons soul


they soon became friends and as soon they became friends Kaneki told her about him being estranged which made Natsuki mad.


though he kept their names a secret.
and so Natsuki is doing her best to make him happy.


and so their secret friendship had started.


and at the same time, the same girls Shino Tanaka (childhood friend), Yuuka Mirai (best friend) and Miku Higanbana/Tachibana(step sister) who felt so much guilt after realizing they've hurt Kaneki so bad.


are trying to fix their relationship with him.

Natsuki-chan likes the power hungry Kaneki

Chikao who knows about everything that happened between Kaneki, Shino, Miku and Yuuka. Confronted Yuuka after they went exploring the forest.

And when they decided to rest in a cave she bombarded Yuuka questions regarding her and Kaneki and the last question being: if she's still the same Yuuka Mirai.

She was still stunned by the question but she decided to ask Chikao what she meant.

Yuuka: what do you mean if I'm still the same me?

Chikao: i mean are you still the best friend that Kaneki had for years?

(She mentioned Kaneki again. What is she trying to say?)

Yuuka: of course! I mean we do still talk(lie)

She clearly lied to Chikao but Chikao can tell that she was lying.

Chikao: don't dare lie to me. I know why you became a Gyaru, I know why you stopped doing your research, I know everything Yuu-chan.

hearing the words "I know everything" Yuuka had only one thought.

Chikao: everything from the entrance ceremony to now, everything that happened between You, Miku, Shino.... and Kaneki. And how you three had hurt him to the point he even forgotten your faces.

(This is bad if she tells everyone Kaneki will hate us!)

Chikao: why? You've hurt the boy who helped me the most so why would I not tell anyone?

( Chikao I'm sorry I didn't want to hurt him and you like him don't you? and you're doing this for his sake but as his best friend I can't let him get hurt more! If he learns of our secret he will only blame himself)

Yuuka: If he learns about our guilt for estranging him he'll only blame himself! You know as much as I do that Kaneki blames himself for his moms death and he blamed himself for a long time!

Yuuka: because he always blames himself for everything! If we're hurt like the time where no one wanted to pair up with us at the field trip Kaneki blamed himself because he thought if he wasn't our friend we would had more friends!

Yuuka: If Kaneki learns our secret he'd blame himself for not talking to us even though it was entirely our fault! And he'll get hurt more. I DON'T WANT THAT!.

Chikao: so you don't want him to get hurt?

Chikao: don't worry i wasn't planning on telling anyone.

Chikao:but you still haven't answer my question Yuu-chan.

Chikao: You've changed Yuu-chan you gave up on your dream, you gave up on years of research and memories with Kaneki and what because you fell in love?

Chikao: That isn't the Yuu-chan I know, the Yuu-chan i know would never give up on her dreams, she'd never give up on her research and she'd always treasure her friends.

Chikao: so tell me Yuu-chan, Are you really Yuuka Mirai or a fake?

Yuuka was going to say she's the real deal until she remembered what Chikao said.

(All those things she said about me... she knew me so well... but am i really still me?)

Chikao: I see, you don't have to answer right away I can wait.

Chikao: I'll give you time to think don't worry.

Chikao: alright then! Let's head back to camp! Maybe Lunch is ready?

Chikao: oh yeah i forgot to mention i rigged the partnering lottery.

Chikao: well since I know about your plan which you 3 made I wanted to help out so I had to rig the lottery so your welcome.

Yuuka had one thought after learning that information.

(Does that mean... she's our ally?)

Meanwhile at camp*

Shino: Hey Higanbana-kun! Is the curry ready?

Kaneki: I'll taste it first sip* yup it's ready but let's keep it hot till everyone is here.

With learning that Chikao knows everything will their plan be ruined? or will they have support from their old middle school friend?
