Kaneki Higanbana was estranged by 3 girls when they got into high school because they fall for a guy name Ryueki itadori.


one day he accidentally met Ryueki itadori's childhood friend and crush Natsuki Mizutani who has the ability to see the "color" of a persons soul


they soon became friends and as soon they became friends Kaneki told her about him being estranged which made Natsuki mad.


though he kept their names a secret.
and so Natsuki is doing her best to make him happy.


and so their secret friendship had started.


and at the same time, the same girls Shino Tanaka (childhood friend), Yuuka Mirai (best friend) and Miku Higanbana/Tachibana(step sister) who felt so much guilt after realizing they've hurt Kaneki so bad.


are trying to fix their relationship with him.

Natsuki-chan likes the power hungry Kaneki

After leaving the Shirogane household The Relic research/expedition team went back to their homes.

Sachi: i never expected that you'd be related to those people.

Chikao: but are you sure they're not lying? You know about them being the family we were searching for?

Kaneki: yup, they're definitely not lying.

Kaneki: well, a gut feeling i guess?

Kaneki: yup, well I'll be doing the rite of passage tomorrow hopefully i pass.

Kaneki being determined to get the hint from the Shirogane family started thinking on how to pass the rite of passage.

After walking the three got to Chikao's apartment and as they said their goodbyes, Sachi and Kaneki went home too.

Miku: took you long enough Onii-chan.

Miku got home faster because took a taxi home.

Miku: I'm honestly surprised apart from your late grandma and grandpa, there wasn't anyone else who was part of your late mom's side.

Kaneki: honestly i feel the same here but they are kinda weird.

Miku: so what challenge do you think you'll face tomorrow at the rite of passage?

Kaneki: either trial by Battle or just creating a weapon.

Miku looked surprised with the second part.

Miku: huh? Creating a weapon? Where did you got that idea?

Kaneki: well Great aunt did say they served the Demon Knights and they did made weapons for the government.

Kaneki: i am definitely gonna pass. Anyways I'll be taking a bath now

Kaneki then went to the bathroom to take a bath.

(Onii-chan's talking to me so casually ever since the day i came home and saw him Natsuki together, and he seems to act a bit like himself when we're home too.)

Miku noticed that Kaneki was talking to her like normal when theyre home but.

(But i think the reason for that is because he didn't want Natsuki to know that i was Miha-chan so she wouldn't hate me. Even after what I've done to him he's still willing to protect me a bad girl...)

("Maybe Onii-chan is not really my Onii-chan" those were words i said or something similar to him back then, and that's when we stopped acting like siblings and more like strangers, and when i realized what I've done it was too late Onii-chan wouldn't talk to me no matter how i try even in those house)

She was filled with regret after abandoning him.

(So i must do everything i can to fix my relationship with him and right now he is determined to get the one relic that we haven't found yet for Yuuka-Oneechan. I'll definitely help him and once we're done finding that Crown, I'll hope- no, i'll definitely fix my relationship with him so i can be his little sister again and... To let go of the feelings i still have... For my previous Onii-chan)

Even though she was filled with regret she is determined to fix her relationship with Kaneki.

and to let go of her feelings for her previous brother the feelings that were the reason why she thought of Ryueki as her real brother and abandoned her real brother.

Miku: alright, I'll do some some studying on all our hints that we currently have, the sooner we find that crown the sooner i can fix my relationship with Onii-chan.

And so she went to her room to study.
