A maid's plead for help
Previously, Kaneki spent some time with Miku in order to cheer up Miku and to calm her down. When he successfully cheered her up, both Miku and Kaneki were heading to sleep.
Well that's what was supposed to happened until.
"Kaneki, there is someone here who wants to talk to you I'll be opening one of your blood vials"
One of Kaneki's Sensei's, Robeca the Robot has contacted Kaneki and is going to summon him via a blood clone.
And now in an unknown location the talk will begin.
Robeca: I've already contacted him, I just need you to wait for a moment.
Ruri: thank you for this.
Robeca: but remember, you can't tell him about Her, got it?
Ruri: yes, I won't.
Robeca: good.
Robeca then took out a vial full of blood.
Robeca: here we go.
Pop!
Pouring~
She took of the cap and began pouring the blood and then.
Kaneki: Man why do I have to deal with this?
The blood clone formed into the shape of Kaneki and he took control of it.
Robeca: I'm sorry for disturbing you Kaneki, but someone is in need of your assistance.
Kaneki: and who would that be?
Robeca: she's right behind you.
Kaneki: she?
Kaneki curiously look behind him and saw a maid who was in her late 30's
Kaneki: huh? A maid?
Ruri: correct, everyone calls me Ruri but my real name is Ichinose Karin, but if you like to you can call me Ichi.
Kaneki: I see, so? Why do you need my help? And more importantly how did you learn about me?
Ichinose: I learned of you thanks to my friend, Eguchi Adachi.
When Kaneki heard Eguchi's name, he immediately looked at Ichi's eyes.
Kaneki: Oh I get it now, you're a maid of the Mil corporation, right?
Ichinose: correct and.
Thurd!
Kaneki: huh???
Ichinose Karin suddenly went on her knees and lowered her heard.
Kaneki: what are you-
Ichinose: Please! Help Millie-san! She's suffering so much! Please I beg you!
Ichinose then started crying and begging Kaneki.
But Kaneki was confused on what he's hearing, in fact he didn't understand a single thing she said.
Kaneki: hey, I don't understand a single thing you're saying, calm down and tell me everything in detail.
After Ichinose calmed down, she began talking in detail.
Ichinose: I want you to save Millie-san.
Kaneki: I'm sorry but what are you talking about? What do you mean by save?
Ichinose: I know that you and the girl she's bullying Miku are step siblings.
Crack!
Kaneki immediately turned one of his arms to a Gun and aimed at Ichinose.
Robeca: Kaneki!
Ichinose: don't worry, I didn't tell anyone, even Millie-san.
Kaneki removed his gun and then.
Kaneki: so? What does that have to do with Millie?
Ichinose then said some words that surprised Kaneki.
Ichinose: she... Didn't want to bully Miku.
Kaneki: huh? What?
Kaneki was surprised and confused after hearing that, so he asked another question with a serious face.
Kaneki: if she didn't want to bully her then why did she?
In response, Ichinose made a saddened face and told Kaneki...
Ichinose: that's because her step-father, Kousuke Tachibana asked her to.
Kaneki made another frustrated face and said.
Kaneki: why would she even obey him?
And then, Ichinose threw a bombshell at him.
Ichinose: that's because... Millie desires parental love.
Kaneki: huh?
Ichinose: she was neglected by her Mother when she was a kid and the only one who took car eof her at the time was her father, but because her mother gotten tired of him, she divorced her and separated Millie from her father.
Hearing that Kaneki's eyes widened.
Kaneki: what? No way why would she do that?
Ichinose: I don't know, but after her parents separated, Millie gotten depressed and what's worse when Kousuke-sama came into the mansion Millie had to endure horrible treatment by her step-father.
Kaneki's thoughts*
(If this Kouseke guy really is Miku's father...)
Kaneki started to imagine what Miku went through as a kid.
(I hate him! That guy needs to be punished!)
He then started to get agitated, he then asked another question.
Kaneki: and? What happened next?
Ichinose: after many horrible treatment from her parents, she decided to not disturb them and to help out in her company but then when Kousuke-sama had learned about Miku having a happy high-school life he wanted to ruin it so he made a deal with her.
Kaneki: a deal?
Ichinose: a deal, if she bullied Miku to the point of her wanting to kill herself, he'll spend time with Millie as her father.
Kaneki was shocked to hear that and angry as well.
Kaneki: Why would she accept that?! She was neglected and treated horribly by her parents! Yet she accepted to bully someone to the point of them wanting to kill them?!
Ichinose: I know... I tried to tell her to not accept the offer but she told me.
"I want to be loved by my parents, I don't have a choice"
Ichinose: she wanted to be loved by her parents, that's why she accepted it but she's suffering too.
Kaneki: huh?
Ichinose: she feels horrible for bullying Miku not only that she would vomit everytime she had the thought of bullying her. If she doesn't stop she might do something she'll regret forever!
Ichinose then went back on her knees and lowered her head and began begging again.
Ichinose: please, I want that child to be happy so please save her.
Kaneki: i-i
Kaneki didn't know what to do so.
Kaneki: I'll think about it.
And then.
Splat!
The blood clone was destroyed.
Ichinose: no way... He refused.
Robeca: nope, that's not the case.
Ichinose: really?
Robeca: yes... Right now he is going to be thinking on what to do.
Back at the Higanbana residence*
(Dammit, what do I do now?)
After learning more of Millie's background, Kaneki started to have conflicted thoughts.
(I want to help Miku but... Should I help Millie?)
Kaneki wanted to help Miku but he also wanted to help Millie.
(I don't know... I don't know!)
Kaneki is now confused on what to do. But what will he do? Will he choose to help Miku? Or Millie?
