Relic Training: Shadow blades (1)

As Kaneki made the decision to train with the Shadow Blades, he asked his two teachers Querxes and Kirin to train him.

And with them accepting, they now went inside the track field rings and begun their training session with the Shadow Blades.

Kaneki: so the rules are I'm not allowed to use any abilities and if any of us leaves the track field rings we lose right?

Kaneki repeated the rules that were given to him just to be sure he heard them all right.

Kirin: that's right! Those are the rules!

Querxes: let's begin already!

Kaneki: Got it.

The 3 then prepared themselves.

Sprout*

Kirin grew vine tendrils on her back.

Poof!

Preston: Finally! Out again!

Querxes sent out his Demon half Preston.

Unsheath~

And Kaneki unsheathed both of the Shadow Blades.

Kaneki: I'm ready when you guys are-

Preston: ORA!

Clang!

Preston had rushed behind Kaneki and sent out a punch but Kaneki immediately blocked his attack with one of the Shadow Blades on his left hand.

Kaneki: Really? Talk about predictable. My turn.

Slash!

Kaneki then slashed both of the Shadow Blades at Preston.

Swoosh!

Preston: Who's predictable now kid?! Hahahaha!

Kaneki: Still you guys.

Swoosh!

Whip!

Kaneki had dodged a whip attack from Kirin.

Querxes: Hell fire!

And Querxes used Shot out balls of Hell fire.

Kaneki: Yeet.

Slash!

But he had absorbed them with the Shadow Blades.

Kaneki: Woah~ nice~ looks like I'll get used to these bad boys really quickly.

Kaneki was already able to use a bit of the Shadow Blades power but what exactly are their power?

Outside of the ring*

Sachi: Looks like he's getting used to the Shadow Blades power really quickly.

???: Shadow Blades?

???: why does that name sound familiar?

Sachi: that's because the Shadow Blades are the Demon Knight relic or should I say weapons thag Demon Knight Shin had wielded.

Everyone: WHAT?! WHERE DID HE GET THAT?!

Everyone was shocked to hear that Kaneki was using another Demon Knight relic.

Sachi: Oh Miyu-chan gave Kaneki permission to use all of the relics we found for the last 10 years.

Natsuki: um.. how many relics exactly can Kaneki-san use now?

Sachi: considering he has the crown and can wield 5 relics that our friends, I and he has around all 33 relics.

Yuuka: Wow that's a lot!

???: wait if it's a relic then it has some powers and abilities right?

Sachi: Correct but this one doesn't really have any dangerous powers and abilities.

itsuki: really? What are they?

Sachi: Just Magic Nullification, Energy absorption, and... Yeah that's pretty much it.

???: that's kind of underwhelming.

Sachi: well it's still useful. Besides Kaneki knows how to use swords so this is a nest match for him.

Back in the track field*

Kaneki: Hmmm... This is honestly getting kinda boring.

Slash!

Querxes: What did you expect?! You're using close range weapons while we apart from Preston over there are using long range attacks!

Kirin: you should've picked a better weapon for this Kaneki!

Kaneki: man this is annoying.

Kaneki was having a hard time battling the three, as 2 of them are using long range and one using close range. He is at a disadvantage.

Kaneki's thoughts*

(Man this is annoying since I'm not allowed to use any other abilities I can't really do much besides run and slash and pierce)

As he was thinking this.

"In that case let's unlock it's secret abilities"

Kaneki: Huh?

Kaneki heard a unfamiliar voice.

Kaneki: who was tha-

As he tried to question who that voice came from.

Thunder!

Kaneki: ARGH!

Kaneki was suddenly stucked by lightning.

Everyone: HUUUUUH?!

Everyone was shocked as he was strucked by lightning even though the sky didn't have any storm clouds.

Querxes: oi Kaneki are you alright?!

Kirin: Hey he's not responding!

Preston: shit we need to get him in the infirmary!

As the three were worried about Kaneki, the Shadow Blades suddenly began buzzing.

Buzz~!

Querxes: huh? Do you hear that?

Kirin: I hear it, is it the Shadow Blades?

As they wondered what was happening.

Splash!

A big circle of darkness appeared underneath Kaneki's feet.

Outside the ring*

Natsuki: Huh?! What's happening?!

Sachi: I don't know! This is new!

Yuuka: I thought the Shadow Blades only had 2 abilities but this one is new!

Shino: This doesn't look good.

Chikao: should we run?

Miku: Eek!

Everyone was shocked, seeing the huge circle of darkness appear underneath Kaneki's feet after he was strucked by lightning wasn't a good sign.

Kaneki's thoughts*

"I'm sorry Great Aunty, I broke the scraft you made sniffle"

"It's alright Kaneki-chan, I'll just give it back when it's fixed"

(Great aunt?)

Kaneki for some reason was remembering his great aunt.

And then.

"I kept my promise Kaneki-chan"

Crack!

Sprout!

Huge black bone hands covered in a deep blood red flames grew out of Kaneki's back.

Crunch!

And then they covered Kaneki making a crunching sound.
