Kaneki Higanbana was estranged by 3 girls when they got into high school because they fall for a guy name Ryueki itadori.


one day he accidentally met Ryueki itadori's childhood friend and crush Natsuki Mizutani who has the ability to see the "color" of a persons soul


they soon became friends and as soon they became friends Kaneki told her about him being estranged which made Natsuki mad.


though he kept their names a secret.
and so Natsuki is doing her best to make him happy.


and so their secret friendship had started.


and at the same time, the same girls Shino Tanaka (childhood friend), Yuuka Mirai (best friend) and Miku Higanbana/Tachibana(step sister) who felt so much guilt after realizing they've hurt Kaneki so bad.


are trying to fix their relationship with him.

When Kaneki gotten another message from the nameless Beast Knight that is yet to be called Takoyaki.

He received a message from her, a hint to where she is located.

After telling Monoma and Claudia the two who are training him to use the Royal Atlantean Arts, Monoma had figured out her location.

And it's in the "Abyss" but what is it?

Kaneki: so what exactly is this abyss?

After hearing this, Kaneki was shocked.

Claudia: It's not just Krakens that live there, there are sea serpents, Dragons and who knows what.

Kaneki: That's... Actually quite scary, but where is it located?

Claudia: It's 50 Kilometers north from here.

Kaneki: Seriously? That far? So we have to go there...

As Kaneki was still trying to process the information that was given to him.

Monoma: Claudia, go back to the evacuation camp.

Monoma had ordered her daughter to return.

Monoma: it is too dangerous for, Kaneki here is using a clones body so he'll be alright, but you don't.

Monoma: I'm not alone Claudia, please I rather keep you safe than go into hell on earth.

Monoma: Sorry about that, but my kid just really wants to help out.

Monoma: When Atlantis was first attacked she tried to fight the Krakens, but I immediately stopped her.

Kaneki: I see. But why is she angry at you?

Monoma: Well you see, I'm very protective.

Kaneki: Oh so that's why you never let me hit her.

During the 1 week search and training, everytime Kaneki would go into combat with Claudia, Monoma would immediately stop the training for a break everytime Kaneki was close to punching her.

Monoma: yup, transform into mermaid form first it would be faster for you.

After Kaneki had transformed the two then went to the entrance to the abyss.

After an hour of swimming they arrived.

Monoma: correct, from here on out it will be complete darkness so I suggest you use salmons ability to sea infrared.

Monoma: there are creatures here that can use echo location, so to be safe just use infrared sight.

Kaneki then activated infrared sight.

The two began whispering so they wouldn't attract any attention.

Monoma: Kaneki try contacting theBeast Knight.

Monoma: through telepathy, since you've gotten into contact with you might be able to send telepathic messages to it.

Kaneki: well I'll try I guess but I haven't learnt it yet.

"Testing testing does anyone hear me?"

Kaneki tried using telepathy but no response.

Claudia: why don't we look in that cave over there.

Monoma was about to yell but Kaneki was able to stop her.

Monoma: Tsk! Not an excuse! Go home now!

Kaneki: Sensei calm down, that's not a good idea, we already went too far in the abyss if we leave her to go alone she'll probably get lost or worse.

Monoma: Sigh~ fine you're coming with us.

Monoma: But just so you know, after this you're grounded young lady.

Kaneki: Anyways let's try looking into that cave she mentioned.

Monoma: that's strange caves don't usually radiate heat.

And the 3 then went into the cave.
