Chapter 28: Go time

David was calm. He was ready. He moved to one of the blind spots in the cameras and pulled a hat out of his pocket, unfolded it. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to hide the color of his hair. He slipped it on and head for the bathroom.

He moved into the bathroom with a crowd, this time not looking up at the camera. He didn’t look like he was avoiding it; just like he was part of the crowd he was walking with, so it made sense he wasn’t looking.

Inside the bathroom, David moved to the stall he had been in the day before. He entered the stall and locked the door. With a tug, he pulled out the ventilation grate.
