Chapter 58: The emails

They stopped off a week later in port. David spent his time there shopping for a new computer. Collins had the best computer money could buy, but for some reason David didn’t trust it. He knew it wouldn’t be hard to ghost after his keystrokes. If Collins did that, then he would know everything David was doing. He liked his privacy, especially when dealing with money.

The computer was supposed to take three days, but with enough money, you can always make things go faster. When they left the port the next night, David had his computer. And a few bottles of hard liquor.

He checked his finances, consolidated his cash into a single account. He let out a soft whistle. I had no idea. He thought to himself. I could have quit a long time ago. I probably should have kept track of this.
