"That is surprising. I thought you would love every opportunity to be the hero the town calls you. Now I must stop saying that," Annalise said, making a mental note of it. She always imagined him as the man who had to get in the middle of everything and receive praise. After all, he was the kingdom's beloved hero.

Rafael recalled her mentioning something about him being a hero, and there was sarcasm in her tone, as if she did not like him. "Have I done something to you, Annalise?" He asked.
