A woman's attention (1)

Annalise sat on a large rock in the yard watching Rafael train the knights. There were two good reasons why she did not mind being outside watching them. One, she got to see how they trained so she could repeat their style. Two, she got to witness the shirtless men running around.

The knights were much better when they were serious and could not annoy her. She could consider this payback for the times they stare at her because of her beauty. Now she got to stare at them.

She smiled each time Rafael threatened to fight someone one on one for slacking off. She made the mistake of cheering for someone to mess up so she could finally see Rafael fighting and when he looked her way she had to look up to the sky to avoid being questioned by him.

"I see why the women go crazy for him," Annalise muttered, keeping her eyes on Rafael as he stood at the front.
