Self-control (2)

Annalise walked up the stairs to the room Contessa described to her. After giving the coins she saved up to Contessa, she was told not to do anything to the men in the room they were resting in because it would get Contessa in trouble.

Annalise knew that men came here to fulfill their fantasies and the women here were ready to put up with it, but with what these men said back at Rafael's manor and now seeing the woman's face and torn dress, her anger grew.

So much for trying not to kill anyone until she was ready to leave town for good with Thomas.

She had to do something drastic to lure the two men out of their room. Something that would make her have to wash her skin clean when she was finished. Annalise would have preferred to kill them where they stood now, but to protect Contessa, she was going to lead them away from the red-light district to a place where she could be alone with the two of them.
